I spent almost 5 years in Germany, driving on the right, then, when back home on leave, driving on the left. Never once got confused.
I drome for years on the eft -though passed my test in the UK. The only time I've been caught out is coming out of Supermarket carparks. I just remember 'keep the centre white line to your right' which works when there is one.
I have no problems driving on the right. Most of the world drives on the right. Perhaps we should change.
i would only get confused if i was driving a left hand drive car in the uk, which isn't going to happen ...

naomi, 76 countries drive on the left.
76 Countries , all thinking Left.
TTT, but there are almost 200 countries in the world.
the logistics of the uk changing to driving on the right doesn't bear thinking about, let alone the inevitable loss of human life

Question Author
yes Naomi, more countries drive on the right, but that does not constitute "most" as you claim above. Driving on the left is more logical, many more people are right handed. The right hand drivers basically followed the French and US who were at the time just being contrarian.
Sweden changed from left to right and it was chaotic for a while - but they got there eventually.

Sweden changed in 1967 when they only had 500,000 vehicles, I'd say it would be almost impossible to change now.
about 35% of the world's population drive on the right. (This includes Indians, many of whom don't always observe the rules.) The figure is probably shrinking - Sweden and Nigeria switched to the right in recent years. But Samoa went the other way, to driving on the left, so they could import RHD cars from Australia.
TTT, //more countries drive on the right, but that does not constitute "most" as you claim above.//

Err? If more countries drive on the right that has to be 'most' - doesn't it?
gulliver yes lol! totally agree!

What side of the road do they drive on in india? Both!

Naomi, what reason could there be for changing?
>about 35% of the world's population drive on the right.
