I don't think reality is in Diddly's vocabulary.
09.59. Bet Diddly is glad she doesn't live at Stoke-On-Tent. ........Hehe.
She's originally from Kent, I think. I know that everyone groans about 'that Kentish woman' every time she walks into a room.
Question Author
1. I am not from Kent, nor ever have been.
2. I'm so glad I don't live in an area populated by Brexiteers.
Diddly //I'm so glad I don't live in an area populated by Brexiteers//
Every area will have some Brexiteers.
Question Author
OK - I should have said "populated by a majority of Brexiteers"
Diddly // - I should have said "populated by a majority of Brexiteers"//
Have you conducted a poll of the city or town you live in?
Question Author
I know that over 60% of Oxford residents voted to stay in the wonderful EU.
Diddly //the wonderful EU.//
You really are away with the fairies.
diddlydo, you seem to have a very antagonistic lifestyle, a lot of my friends are remainers, we're still good friends.
Same here Vulcan. We just agree to differ in our beliefs. Much the same as with religion. My son was a remainer. We still remain very close.
I hope you kicked him out the house, apc. ;)
Ditto - re family and friends. One daughter is a rabid remainer (to an unbelievable extent) and we're off to Sunday lunch tomorrow with 2 other (not so rabid) remainer friends. We don't discuss it any more and have enough sense to appreciate people as people.
That was not to Apc!
diddly, //I'm so glad I don't live in an area populated by Brexiteers. //

I bet they are too.

I thought you lived somewhere near Uxbridge. Don't know where I got that from.... something about Brunel University?
^^^Done it again! Not to SPICERACK...… grrrr I perfectly agree with apc.
//I hope you kicked him out the house//

He's been long gone Spicerack! Otherwise I might have :o)
Question Author
I have no idea why people think I live in Uxbridge, Kent and various other places. I thought I'd made it quite clear on this site that I live near Oxford - where a huge majority voted to stay in the EU. A propos of which, I'm delighted that my precious burgundy EU passport still admits me to museums etc in the EU which are free to EU citizens.
Free entry to museums eh, diddly. Just the ticket for Remainer relics from a bygone age.
So you're in Oxford too diddly ? I don't venture into the shark infested waters on threads like these but I admire your resilience and good humour.
