You would have to experience it up close, Tora, it's frightening the bile that spews from both sides of 'the old firm'. Not everyone of course but a significant number.

I experienced it first hand 3Ts on a visit to the west of Glasgow about 24 years ago
As said, he'll have grown up with it.
Kids is kids.
Fstty, four eyes, carrot head, etc etc.
He is not bigoted, kids are cruel he will grow out of it.
Not a reflection on parents.
What often bewilders me, TTT, is when the home fans, say, racially abuse one of the away team's players because of their colour, yet have one or two players on their side who are of the same hue?
Reminds me of a match I attended during the 80s, Burnley v Halifax Town. Their centre forward was a black lad by the name of Wayne Allison and he wasn't having a very good game. There were a handful of Halifax supporters in and around where I was standing, and one of them shouted, "Wayne, lad, if you have to be a n****r, be a good 'un."

If all children grew out of insulting behaviour, we wouldn't have adults who regularly insult others and that isn't the case - is it?

Generations of inbreeding?
Most kids are cruel, only some adults.
Most children are absolutely not cruel but those that are have learned it from the adults in their lives.....itis the adults who teach their children that it is ok to call names and make people cry etc...because that is what happens to them at home.
