Gary Lineker et al may also like to take note. A load of comments underneath appear to agree with Mr Morgan

Seems to be a delusion among actors that they are experts on politics.
Question Author
Exactly Danny. Football pundits also. That was one of the listed comments.
Luvvies live in a bubble, just like the Metropolitan elite.

Could backfire badly on the prossie loving actor.
Mr Morgan has never got over the fact that Mr Grant won a case against him during the phone hacking scandal.
Wow! One man says something, another man disagrees.
I would hazard a guess, danny, that the average actor/football pundit (etc, etc, etc) is as much an expert on politics as are many on here. They, as are we all, are entitled to their opinions, are they not?
I don't really know what qualifications or experience Mr Grant has which makes him an expert on the UK's constitutional arrangements and its politics. I'm afraid the Luvvies will have to get used to the UK being outside the EU and it having a Tory government as both are likely to prevail for some time. I seem to recall (from those distant days in the summer of 2016) that a number of them were going to quit the UK if it left the EU. Some of them, I recall, were calling for a second referendum as early as 24th June that year, so no concerns with "the method of our leaving". They simply didn't like the result. I wonder how many of them have belongings packed and their passage booked for next Saturday.

Perhaps Mr Grant is suffering from the delusion that he is still the Prime Minister whom he played in a second rate film a few years back.

(apart from playing a fictional Mr Grant
//They, as are we all, are entitled to their opinions, are they not? //

Indeed they are. The only difference is they are in a position to air their opinions very publicly.
Ken //They, as are we all, are entitled to their opinions, are they not?//
Of course , but that does not make them experts on the subject as many of them appear to think that they are.
Agreed Naomi. I was just about to post the same. I am so cheesed off with the luvvies and their arrogant attitude on politics.
Maybe, Naomi, but my bet is that but for retro's post, you wouldn't have heard anything at all about this matter. The fall-out between these 2 egotists took place on Twitter, I believe. And that's where it ought to have stayed.
Nor anyone on here, for that matter, Danny. Doesn't stop them from expressing their opinions, does it? And, when push comes to shove, opinions are like anal openings. We all have one, some just smell worse than others.
oh dear did an ickle actor wactor not get his own way, aww diddums!
Ken I don't think that abers who express opinions here consider themselves experts.I certainly don't.
I honestly believe there are those that do, Danny. Again, just another smelly opinion:-)

I believe Jamie Oliver has a double whammy to honour us with his pledge to depart our shores. (a) Boris Johnston to become P.M. and (b) Brexit.
Bye Bye
Didn't Hugh Grant endorse 4 liberal candidates, who all lost their seats...
//I believe Jamie Oliver has a double whammy to honour us with his pledge to depart our shores.//

That should save his suppliers a few bob when his next "venture" turns its mammary glands to the sky - so long as he takes his businesses with him, of course.

Ken
As the link shows. This news came from Yahoo not twitter. Available for all to see.
//Indeed they are. The only difference is they are in a position to air their opinions very publicly//

So what? If that opportunity was offered to one of the more vocal Brexiteers or Remainers on AB, they'd take the mic without hesitation.

I have little time for Mr Grant as an actor (apart, obviously, from Paddington 2), but he has as much right as anyone else to air his opinion, as does (unfortunately) Mr Morgan.
Retro; as your Yahoo link shows, the spat was played out on Twitter. No doubt Yahoo have someone monitoring Twitter for such trivialities.
