// Naomi, is rarely wrong about things,// um oh dear I remember a ignorant spat about muslims and pork. News everyone - the nigh has discovered that the Koran DOES allow you to eat pork!
BUT....
altho the more demure here said that confidentiality was a feature and should be respected
I now find the lady who had published the photo is now saying little Jack (*) and his confidentiality should be maintained. what ?- she was the one that started it all !
General elections do funny things to people
and never mind the press has said - well it may be faked or not but look at the Prime Ministers reaction ! Let us look at that ( even tho the whole thing may be faked)
as someone said
General elections do funny things to people

(*) Jark Jark - do you hear der bells Jark?
Klute in the film Klute auditioning for a bit part in the film 1968 with an oirish accent
the producer says - interesting accent

pp, //News everyone - the nigh has discovered that the Koran DOES allow you to eat pork! //

Not a recent discovery by any means - not that that is relative to this thread - but then your spiteful, inane ramblings aren't relative to ANY thread. Leave me out of them.
It seems many peoples reaction is "It's fake". What a vile reaction. Imagine if it#s not fake (which it likely isn't)

People like to bury their heads in the sand don't they?

Grim.. Passing it off as fake when you've no evidence is just as good as refusing to acknowledge the situation.
TD, don't you think that it is strange that a reporter just happened to be there?
No. There are reporters everywhere.

Dannyk13, was it reporter who took the photo of Jack?

"Jack waited for four hours in a room without a bed, despite being admitted under blue light to Leeds General Infirmary" - from BBC.
"The boy's mother has said she does not want her son's treatment being used as a "political football"."
Danny the boys mother too kthe photo

"In a formal complaint to press regulator IPSO, she said she had initially given permission to two newspapers to use her son Jack's image but - after the story was widely reported across other news outlets - she now wanted to prevent any further publication of the picture or his details."

"Her image"

Seems people need to get educated on this topic before flippantly saying "It's fake" cus it aint, hon.
"His mother said she then made a makeshift bed for her son with coats and took the picture."
TD, the boy's mother also said // He just couldn’t settle or get comfy, he said hequote[wanted] to lay down.//
So not forced to do anything.
-- answer removed --
"So not forced to do anything."

Because the boy was on oxygen, I assume he was tired.

No, not forced to do anything. He could have stayed at home and died, couldn't he?
TD, He could have remained in the chair he was sitting in,
.
And diagnosed and treated before a more urgent case was admitted. Considering he was discharged the following day it would seem he wasn't as poorly as his mother first thought.
//"The boy's mother has said she does not want her son's treatment being used as a "political football"."//

I wonder what she expected when she sent the picture to the press a couple of days before a general election?
Do you have a medical degree TD?
Being a young boy sitting in a chair for 4 hours whilst on oxygen with pneumonia I can more than understand his desire to lay down.

Danny at first you thought a reporter took the photo implying that you thought the photo was staged "strange that a reporter just happened to be there?". Then you're being flippant about the situation the boy was really in, implying he could have stayed sat in his chair?

It seems to me you may not be aware of the severity of pneumonia in the young and old.

If this was a 90 year old man, would your thoughts on the situation be different?
"Do you have a medical degree TD?"

Do I need a medical degree to copy and paste from the BBC website? I think not.
TD, he did not have pneumonia, he was diagnosed as having flu and sent home.
