//Non story// You'd be all over it like a rash if it was Jezza instead of Bojo.

Dannyk13, it was suspected pneumonia whilst he did not have a bed and was on the floor. It was later in the day when it was clear what condition he had.
The bottom line is that he was not forced to lie down on the floor. He was given a chair and not feeling comfortable he decided to lay down.
“Jack was quickly assessed upon arrival and seen in two different clinical treatment rooms in the Paediatric Emergency Department.

“Within four hours a decision was made to admit Jack to our Children’s Assessment and Treatment (CAT) Unit for further monitoring overnight.

"Unfortunately, the unit was also experiencing exceptionally high levels of demand which meant that Jack was required to wait in the clinical treatment room in the Paediatric Emergency Department until a bed became available."

The bottom line is they left a young child with suspected pneumonia who was obviously exhausted to have to lay on the floor on a pile of coats just to get some much needed rest.
"He didn't have pneumonia. He was subsequently discharged."

As I and almost every news article has stated, at the time Jack was on the floor it was suspected pneumonia.
You need a medical degree to make the statement that he would have died!
Anyhow.... Now people aren't chatting from pure suspicion and that I've highlighted the actual facts, I'm going to leave the thread.

Hopefully the it's fake mob can hang their heads in shame. They would rather dismiss honest journalism for petty political propaganda simply because they don't want to believe it. How embarrassing.
TD as usual you think that you are right and everyone else is wrong. I'll leave you to it.
I got blipped i think, i wonder why
If anyone is guilty of spreading propaganda it’s the mother who took the picture and sent it to the press. For her to now say she doesn’t want her son used as a political football is utterly disingenuous.
I know I said I'd leave the thread, but I didn't think in doing so that the discussion would die.

What, people don't want to talk about this anymore now more info has surfaced?

Those who tarnished it as fake, any comment now?
Spath - did you not read the paragraph below you pasted?

"Unfortunately, the unit was also experiencing exceptionally high levels of demand which meant that Jack was required to wait in the clinical treatment room in the Paediatric Emergency Department until a bed became available."

If there was not a bed immediately available due to "...exceptionally high levels of demand...", what do you expect the hospital to do? Sometimes hospitals experience a high demand for their services, and they simply cannot magic extra beds or wards out of thin air.

This is not the fault of the Tories or Boris - it is simply that on that day at that time, there were no beds immediately available due to a high level of demand.

DD exactly
"I know I said I'd leave the thread, but I didn't think in doing so that the discussion would die."

hahaha, you think this board revolves around you ?...hahaha...dream on matey boy
DD i was here to highlight how the issue was real, opposed to fake
Or “photoshopped” like has been mentioned. Regardless of why the boy was on the floor, which has been discussed with Danny, it has now been proven that the situation was real.
You have to remember that hospitals are 'always' overstretched at this time of the year. No-one can predict how many people who will get ill or whether the next person who comes through the door will be much sicker than the person before hand.

A&E is not a first come, first served service...the sickest jump the queue, and rightly so.

I'm sure his mother would have informed staff if his condition deteriorated.
Best ignore the issue then and continue to spout your plans for next year whilst trying to hide evidence of failure in your pocket.
TD, I don't think that anybody is insisting that the photo was not real. What is suspicious is the way that it has been reported that the boy was forced to lay on the floor which is patently untrue as his mother confirmed that it was his choice.
What on earth is that suppose to mean, TD?
Dannyk13, many people said the photo was staged, and that the boy was not sick and that the photo was from labour actavists

https://metro.co.uk/2019/12/10/trolls-claim-photo-boy-hospital-floor-faked-labour-activists-11589821/

Ummm, it's suppose to mean.. That's what the prime minister did. He ignored calls to look at the image, he then took it and put it in his pocket. What this whole thread is about.
