Be interesting to see what happens.
Doubt it. The UK doesn't seem to take death by dangerous driving very seriously.
The Americans don't hand their criminals over. There's no debate.
I suspect that the US won't hand over their citizen, but hopefully at least it won't be for want of trying on our side.
I think Trump will just tell Boris to get lost and Boris will have to say "yes, sir". That hardly constitues a row, unfortunately.
I'm sure Boris knows he will need to obey the law. Unfortunately, he also knows he will need to be underhand and devious about it, because of the type of people he is dealing with.

are the US not extraditing anyone from from UK at the mo?
Wrong thread, pix?
Arguably so, but maybe not ;-)
No we wont end up in a row with US over it, sadly Our government will not fight that hard.
Don't we still have Julian Assange? I believe the U.S. have an outstanding extradition warrant on him for computer crimes.
Question Author
Yep, Assange is in the slammer, so we have a bargaining chip.
Trump can have Boris back , he may as well , he ain't no use to the UK. Good riddance.
i think there will be many US citizens hounding this callous woman to do the right thing

It would be nice to think so, but I doubt it.
Oops... sorry x
This woman has to look at herself in the mirror every day.
Guilt will gnaw at her, her dreams will relive the accident. Self punishment, but no waived immunity.
Maybe a sincere apology to the parents of this poor lad would go a long way. The lowest of the low to run away.
But Assange didn't commit a crime here or in the US, whereas the unfortunate accident was caused by lack of attention, and should be tried in the country it occurred. I'm not without awareness that anyone can make an error and not instinctively change driving habits when roaming, but the incident still resulted in an innocent person's death.

@ 1455,
Boris no longer has American Citizenship, he gave it up.
Do keep up.
