I don’t , Why?
Because he’s the only one who knows where he’s going, he has no majority in the HoC so he should call a GE now, we couldn’t be in a worse position than we are now, let Corbyn put his money where his mouth is, I’m not suggesting he’ll win a GE because the whole thing is a mess, everyone is sick of the last 3 .3 years, we need to get leadership like never before in our once very proud country

Not in the slightest. He's trying to force through our democratic decision against a tide of folk who treat democracy and the public with disdain, and who will use every trap, loophole, and trick they can find to thwart the nation. Boris deserves a medal for what he has tried and put up with, and should only resign if there is something to gain from it. Presently...

Thanks Bobbi, my reply was based on a legal high....(unlike the day Boris had yesterday) ;-)
// @Gromit, so you think Corbyn will be PM then? //

If there is an election now, it would be a hung Parliament. The Coalition partner would insist to the Conservatives that Boris had to go. Likewise, if Labour were in a coalition, the partner would not accept Corbyn.

If there is a General Election in the longer term, say next year, then both Corbyn and Johnson will have been removed by their respective Parties.

Pure speculation
// haha, agchristie - if there was another BA I'd happily send it your way :o) //

You can change the BA as the thread’s author. Click on BA on AgC’s answer.
Pure speculation

you don't say, dannyk - making a prediction is speculation? Fancy that.
// Pure speculation //

Of course that is speculation. This thread is about speculating on Boris’ future.

more than happy with 0_Gs BA Gromit
'He's trying to force through our democratic decision'

Force being the operative word. The force he's used has been proven by the highest court in the land to be undemocratic. It's strange how leave voters interpretation of 'democratic' changes with the circumstances.
Bo-Jo go? No.
Why should he resign, he has done nothing wrong, at the time he decided to delay the opening of parliament it was not unlawful.

Just because a multi milonaire woman decided to take it to the high court, who judged it to be unlawful, only mean it it now unlawful.
Erm.....no it doesn't. There's been some twisted logic expressed on here but that's on a whole different level, AOG.

In other words, complete cobblers.
//more than happy with 0_Gs BA Gromit//

Bobbi, I accept your judgment with a shrug of, er, resignation ;-)

(Ta Gromit! You tried ha! )
No he should stay put. Sometimes you have to upset the balance, or become a mini dictator to get things done.

hahaha ^^^^^ @ agchristie, Good seeing you back on form
// at the time [Boris] decided to delay the opening of parliament it was not unlawful. //

Firstly, it was ALAWYS unlawful. The Supreme Court didn’t change the law, they upheld the existing law.

Secondly, Boris didn’t delay opening Parliament, he shut it.
Wish I was Bobbi :-(
//they upheld the existing law.//

er, what law, specifically?

Hang on in there :o)
Don't see the problem in shutting down parliament if its not producing any results, there shutting 21 Debenham stores for the same reason. :0)
