Why hasn't your friend got English windows? Is s/he some kind of VBQC?
Après Octobre votre fenêtre française diviendra inutilisable.

Get over over it.

Life's a chatte.
Don't you mean life's a chienne?
You won't be able to open your French Windows:

A compromise has already been proposed where the windows can open if Venetian blinds stay closed.
...but will we be still able to make French toast or nip down to the chemist for a packet of French letters?
I shall miss the Brussels sprouts at Christmas. :((
I have wondered if there's anyone in Deal in Kent who has been especially worried recently.
you will but due to the back stop agreement if you cannot agree when they should be open the French will take control of the windows indefinitely.
...oh and all your other windows too!

Yes they will still be allowed to be wide open, just as our borders are.
No problems with windows, but your profit'l roll.

aelmpvw .... your comment made me laugh out loud.
At least we won't be in the Eurovision song contest, roll on the 31st October.
The only thing we need at this present time is some 'Dutch Courage' to get us through the next few weeks.
When the water is tuned off will we all need a jerry pot?
frazer, Eurovision existed LONG LONG before the EU was even thought of !!!!
//frazer, Eurovision existed LONG LONG before the EU was even thought of !!!!//

Wrong again. The Eurovision song contest was dreamt up in 1955 and first held in 1956. The EUSSR was dreamt up by the Austrian diplomat and Freemason Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi and written up in his first book, Pan-Europa, and then the truly prophetic book Practical Idealism written in 1925. Kalgeri hypothesised that "a diverse and multi-cultural people were easy to control as they had no common identity to rally behind in the event of a political crisis. In addition to that, a diverse population would be easy to conquer by the means of divide and rule. The newly arrived immigrants would be pitted against the native people with both sides believing that they were a persecuted minority languishing under a system of law that was rigged against their favour."
Not unless you have the requisite forms.

I believe to open French windows in a non EU country requires the forms FW:EU-373b and WF:EU-373c.

However if it is a windy day and they need to be secured in an open position then form FWWF:EU- HS2251 will need to be submitted three weeks before the date of us.
