/// London Mayor Sadiq Khan has reignited his long-running feud with President Donald Trump and mocked him for playing golf as Hurricane Dorian moves dangerously close to the United States. ///

Does this idiot expect Trump to sit in a Canute fashion at the waters edge, demanding Hurricane Dorian to go away from the United States?

Perhaps this so called 'Mayor of London' should be addressing the huge numbers of murders taking place in his own city.

I think that President Trump has every right to be annoyed at what Sadiq Khan compared him to.

// Trump described Sadiq Khan as “a stone cold loser” after the London mayor compared him to a 20th-century fascist. ///
I think POTUS should not waste his precious energy on what a mayor thinks.

A jumped up son of a bus driver, shouldn't abuse his position as the Mayor of London, in an attempt to dissolve the long standing good relationship between the UK and the USA.
The good relationship has nothing to do with us. It's being warped by the person in charge of the USA. The mayor of London has no power or influence over the POTUS so there should be no response or clash. It's juvenile, immature and quite frankly more pathetic than this attempt to discredit Khan.
If what the Mayor of London says ruins the relationship between two countries then it was a fragile relationship to begin with.

And besides, it *is* a valid criticism that Trump has played golf on something like 150 occasions as President. Even if he's receiving advice during golfing hours it's not exactly focusing properly on the job is it? And there are at least a few degrees of engagement between "play golf" and "stand on the east coast of Florida shouting at Dorian to back off".
By comparison, Obama was also a profilic golfing president, visiting a golf course just shy of once a week on average. Trump has more than doubled that rate, but clearly both are far too high. Indeed, it's not like the issue hadn't gone unnoticed during Obama's presidency...

Why should anyone care who Sadiq Khan's father was?
When Tony Bliar was away on important summit meetings his deputy Prime Minister , John Prescott, fancied himself as a champagne socialist and was found playing Croquet with his cronies at Dorney Wood all week.
Trump is a thick idiot.

Oh Dear,
//Why should anyone care who Sadiq Khan's father was?//

You should address that question to the Press Association. It was the media that rammed that one down our throat during the mayoral campaign.
I am sure Labour thought it was a great campaign winner. You know. Man of the people. Humble bus driver's son. Poor immigrants'son . etc etc
The Press knows where to cast the bait and catch the most fish.
Spath @ 12.26," Trump is a thick Idiot " Have to agree with you .What a Plonker.
Trumps daddy is from the bronx. Trump would be absolutely nothing without his fathers wealth.. Absolutely nothing.

Khan made something for himself from himself.

Trump thinks he has a clue cus of his position but he's used a crutch his entire life and he paints it camouflage and pretends it's invisible.

He's a stupid idiot who doesn't even know what nationality his father is.
How funny! Multi-millionaire and leader of the most powerful nation on earth – and spath and gulliver think he’s a thick idiot. :o)
"Multi-millionaire and leader of the most powerful nation on earth" and he gets emotional about what some Mayor thinks.. What a pathetic plonker!
I'd be careful letting Trump hear you call him "only" a multi-millionaire, N :P

But besides, aren't we constantly being told that people who are wildly successful in one sense can still be complete idiots in other senses? I don't doubt that Trump's built a successful business, but I can't quite take seriously Trump's claim to be "good with words, I know the best words", or "my IQ is one of the greatest and you all know it!", and so on.

I should say "successful business empire", rather than just one business.
Herr Trump, by the sound of it , he will tell you his Father invented the Bratwurst next.
