/// AOG, for clarity her parents have said she was wearing her underwear not nightdress. ///

I can only go on what was reported on yesterday's 6 o'clock TV news.
Can anyone starve to death if they go without food for only 10 days?
The starvation and stress caused internal bleeding, AOG. Remember, this is a young, mentally underdeveloped, confused girl who has lost her way and who would no doubt be terrified.
"Spath, why are you assuming her thought processes would have been rational and sensible? She had severe learning difficulties."

exactly. Not a child to want to wander off without her parents in a location she didn't know.

Her parents now their child. They said she would NOT walk off without them.
AOG I think it was widely reported that she went to bed in her nightdress but that seems to have changed now. Perhaps if she was very hot in her new surroundings she might have taken her nightdress or underwear off if the heat became unbearable and therefore was naked when she left her bedroom.
Here is today's report in the Guardian which mentions underwear, not that it makes any difference anyway:-).

Lost her wayy???

No.. they're claiming she climbed out her window and went for a midnight wander until she starved to death.

Why would she go out the window?

This is bonkers.
Spath, she had severe learning difficulties. Who's to know what she was thinking?
Spath, nothing anyone says will dislodge you from the thought of something sinister having taken place so it's pointless even trying.
"Who's to know what she was thinking?"

Her parents owuld have a rough idea, after raising her for 15 years being her constant crutch. They wouldn't let her sleep alone if they knew she was prone to wandering.. would they?
If her parents are not satisfied with the results of the PM I suppose there is nothing to stop them having another PM done after they get her body back to London?
Perhaps she wasn't prone to wandering, spath. She was in a new environment and looking forward to seeing a waterfall. Perhaps that's what she decided to do.
The parents and Nora’s family have obviously been made aware of the findings of the PM. All this speculation about what * MIGHT * have happened is totally irrelevant, and disrespectful to the whole drastic situation. Please stop .
LB, I would do that.
I'm not saying the PM is incorrect.. I'm saying that i doubt the girl was wondering around alone until she starved to death in the Malaysian thick rain forest, crossing streams and waterfalls for near ten days.

If she has learning difficulties, she would have dehydrated long before.
She apparently was desperate to see the waterfall she was found at - perhaps in her mind it made sense not to wait for her parents
"Perhaps that's what she decided to do."

Not much to see in the dark. How on earth would she find one?
I find it hard to believe she knew where the waterfall was, knew how to get there, managed to get there, then waited there till she starved... without anyone seeing her.
Good God Spath she had learning difficulties - things do not make sense when you have learning difficulties - why do you find that so difficult to comprehend?
//If she has learning difficulties, she would have dehydrated long before. //

Why? People with learning difficulties drink if they're thirsty.
