A kiddy-fiddler flushed down the lavatory

I bet Mr Dixon felt flushed with success. Summary Justice. Prison style. What did he have to lose. Serving life for murder anyway?

Flushed away with the rest of the turds. What a fitting ending.
Folk in gaol should be allowed to mete out their own justice then?
I said it was a fitting ending. Not "it's OK for folk in gaol to mete out their own justice."

He wasn't "flushed away" though, was he? He was allegedly drowned by a cellmate. The method is hardly of consequence, the fact is he was murdered.
Whilst it's more difficult to find sympathy for those who have done such wrong, it is nevertheless an indictment of the prison system that this can happen, even though we know/suspect bullying tactics are not unusual. The state decides punishment, not the criminals.
A colloquialism, THECORBYLOON.
Yep, a paedo was murdered. Who cares? Not me. Maybe you do. Different strokes for different folks.
In principle, I agree it was wrong and should not have been allowed to happen.
In practice, I am failing to feel any sympathy for him.
Why should those in gaol not be protected from those who think they're justified in delivering additional punishments?

Would you think differently if the punishments were delivered outwith gaol?

What if someone thinks Tommy Robinson deserves a bit of a kicking after he's released from gaol?
I’ve got no intention of writing an essay to satisfy your curiosity or justify my opinion, THECORBYLOON.

Dead paedo. Unpleasant ending. Oh well.
I think they should be protected in theory, but sometimes it is just karma.

It shouldn't happpen, but it did, shame.
I feel no sympathy for paedophiles and murders , and would normally prefer these retributions to pass without comment - however what disappoints me is the gloating and glee expressed in threads like this and the language used.
Why on earth would you be disappointed by people you don’t know, Mamyalynne?
I’m neither gloating nor gleeful. But if any type of criminal deserves a nasty end, then it’s someone like this person. Like I said before - different strokes for different folks.
I did not single you out, disappointing to read - that's all.

The answer is,then, to place these odious people in isolation 24/7. No contact with other prisoners, family, food pushed through a cat flap a la mode of a Napoleonic prison. There now. Everybody happy? No instant justice meted out by fellow prisoners. The alternative, of course, is to give them a lethal injection in the first place.
BIGBAD, you may be neither gloating nor gleeful but you appear to be more than happy with the murder and the means by which it was carried out.
I know you didn’t single me out.I just wondered why you’re disappointed by strangers? I may disagree with a lot of people on AB, but don’t find myself disappointed by them.
Anyway, not going to push for an answer. Don’t want to turn into one of those “what if” or “yeah but” people. Just curious
Do I THECORBYLOON? (There’s only 1 upper case letter in my username, BTW).
You read into my answer what you like, I really couldn’t care less.
I assume the ABer you usually follow around at the weekend hasn’t posted enough today, so you’ve latched on to me instead. Well, there’s nothing else of interest at the moment in the topics I look at, so I’ll leave you to it.
I'm left wondering what exactly goes on at this Hendon place that turns out upholders of law and order with such a flexible attitude to the rules.

It could all just be bants right enough, lads joshin' an' that but I don't think retrocop has much time for interaction with civilians.
We don't know, we weren't there man.

I admit to a bit of to and fro in judgement myself but thought the thin blue line were impartial to fault and not at all giggly.
Problem is I doubt the guy who did it was motivated by the victim's crime, probably just a violent person who lost his rag about something else. That kind of removes the 'honour amongst thieves' satisfaction.
