/// They are being represented by Tasnime Akunjee, the same lawyer who supported Jihadi bride Shamima Begum's family after she left her east London home to join ISIS in Syria. ///

I wonder if the boy's family are funding this court case or is it being left up to the good old British taxpayer once again?

Zacs-Master// It isn't unfair in my opinion, N. He gets everything her deserves. He'sa right wing thug whether he denies he is or not.//

So what Naomi, they can crowd fund, get a friend to pay for it a religious organisation whatever- the TAX PAYERS are NOT funding it.
If people can get the money they can try to sue whomsoever they like, and then it's heard, so what exactly is the problem, other than some people are affronted by the fact that other people take massive objection to Tommy Robinson, what he does and what he has to say and have decided to go via the courts to try to hold him to account for that.

I would have said that that was all very civilised tbh.
Spicerack, spot on.
Calicogirl. I didn't say the taxpayers are funding it so why you're shouting at me is mystery. Vent your spleen all you like about Tommy Robinson, but do it to someone who's asked for your opinions. I haven't.
You just quoted my response to AOG Naomi and said /they may not be funding it//. I was answering that so my response was obviously to you.
Calicogirl, I know your response was to me.... and mine was to you.

/// denier ///

Would that be 10 denier or 15 denier Peter? :0)
Then why you don't understand why I addressed it to you is one of those mysteries for the ages then, it was perfectly obvious...
^I didn't say that either.
Naomi & Calicogirl you are getting near to the point of derailing this thread with your bickering.
(irony claxon.....irony claxon)
danny, the conversation I'm having with Calicogirl relates specifically to the topic. That should present no one - including you - with a problem.
Naomi, no, you are arguing about who said what.
danny, our conversation relates to the topic.
Good grief Danny no it does not. It's perfectly acceptable to debate within the debate about who said what to whom and how they meant it when it directly relates to the OP, which is what Naomi and I were doing.
There is no reason for other members to constantly act like the AB police and tell off other users, we have mods for that.
Calicogirl, I believe danny is a mod but I don't think his duties extend to telling people what they may or may not discuss - as long as the conversation is within 'the rules'.
Danny actually is the ab police though..
More likely than not the claimant will be doing "No win no fee" and so for now the law firm are effectively funding it.
I don't know if Danny is a mod or not but I'll happily take your word for it that he is, but I still think the site is over policed as it is and people in the capacity of members don't need to be telling other members what they may or may not discuss within Site Rules. Our exchange was plainly pertinent to the OP and I'll stand by it.
Naomi, I did not tell you anything, I just pointed out that you were getting away from the subject.
