I'm usually good at spotting bull but I haven't seen enough of it. I bet there's a rake of body language experts on the case.
//Lie detectors are not reliable though//

More reliable than Prosecutors in this case!
On last nights news a reporter interviewed the prosecutor:-
Reporter " Do you think that Smollet is guilty?
Prosecutor " Yes, he is guilty"
The mind boggles.
That's worrying.

It's probably as simple as there's been a meeting of the Illuminati where it was decided that gay black actors should be placed on the CITES list making them untouchable.

I doubt that the senior police will let this die quietly.
//I doubt that the senior police will let this die quietly. //

Hope they don't.
What is the motive?

I briefly heard it was something to do with wages? I could be completely wrong though.

Who knows, ummmm, who knows what goes on in the mind of a person who pretends to be something they're not for a living?

Mental illness? General insecurity? LOOK AT MEEEE!!?

He could, of course, just be a complete idiot, unemployable from this day forward.
You want fries with that?
Cheers Naomi. Strange.
another attention seeking rissole
Motive. I think the noose he kept around his neck could be key.
His friend Kamala Harris was trying to get her Anti-Lynching Bill passed. (who knew it was legal, ;-) )
She announced she was running for President the day before poor Jusse was attacked.
The next day.
.@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery.

This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.

— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) January 29, 2019

Her Bill passed and she's now the favourite to be the Democrat challenger in 2020.
Very strange. You've committed a crime but we'll just not bother prosecuting you.

I wonder if they do that for people other than celebrities.
Smollett fitted the 'bill' perfectly.
You had to be black or gay to be a victim in said bill.
The co-sponsors eerily similar take on the 'attack'.

//The vicious attack on actor Jussie Smollett was an attempted modern-day lynching. I'm glad he's safe.

To those in Congress who don't feel the urgency to pass our Anti-Lynching bill designating lynching as a federal hate crime– I urge you to pay attention. https://t.co/EwXFxl5f2m//

//Empire star Jussie Smollett has been ordered to pay $130,000 (£100,000) to police - even though charges alleging he staged a hate crime to boost his career have been dropped.//

Curiouser and Curiouser.
Must be Civil Court they're threatening to take him to.
He might be involved in an accident soon.
we do know he wasnt convicted dont we?

that sortta is unconnected to whether he offered the bribe or not
and we do know that he was beaten up
( and in England we know that you cant consent to GBH - the car spanner case)

we DO know how much he was paid - not enough. that was why he did it

and we also know that being involved in a criminal case may mean loss of lots and lots of moolah. Game of Thrones? The lady who claimed she was assaulted on Waterloo concourse - Day 1 of the case she pointed at the defendant and said 'that is not he!' The charade continued for a week and he was acquitted. He had to pay for his own defence which wd have been £30 000 - nowhere near a wasted costs order.
This means he was effectively fined £30k for being in the wrong place - but also kinda wasnt [fined] - - do people see that?
every crime must be presecuted? o come aaaarn !

Must be Civil Court they're threatening to take him to.

they appear to trying to get the costs of investigation - occurs here only in professional discipline cases ( GMC and Solicitors Reg) - you screw the doctor or lawyer AND make him pay for the case !

Case shall not beget a case - get artta here ! [Judge Judy]
witness crimes are 1) perjury and 2)perversion of the course of justice
and that is it - - -

Perjury is not a tort here (UK) [a thousand ABers hit the 'wot dat den?' button within the same millisecond] which means you cant sue for damages ( loss of job, reputation etc) on perjury

sad but true - the english rule is - "interest rei publicae sit finis ad litem". [Ni shrieks forrin, I see ancient forrin! - - someone applies a cold compress. Abers get up and leave] - it is in the interests of the republic that there is an end to litigation.

I prefer - a case shall not beget a case - get artta here!
it is shorter and in English.

so we will have to wait and see
Jussie has got his publicity
Not sorted that unhealthy obsession yet then, PP.
As if it couldn't get any more bonkers.

Jussie Smollett's lawyer says
Abel and Ola Osundairo acted alone and probably whited-up
