retro at 11:49 very well said.
Rockrose //Retro I have worked in many forms of investigation for your information .//
I take it that you didn't have to attend many pubic order disturbances or pub brawls then?
This is how Police Officers are treated on the streets these days regardless of gender and the thugs don't stop to consider if pregnant or not. The police budget is stripped to the bone. They cannot afford litigation payments having an alternative temporary solution.

Maybe serious crime doesn't occur too often in Devon & Cornwall?

No fights,no knife crime,robberies,etc
Danny what I did for a living has no effect on this story just Retro having a snipe
Rockrose., with respect it is what you didn't do for a living (Police service) that has a bearing on what you post.
I’d hazard a guess that women here who shout for the right of a female to put herself and her unborn child at risk would be the first to blame the employer if anything happened to either of them. Health and safety and all that.

You’ve done a vast array of jobs, Rockrose. I’m impressed.
I'm not sniping. I am stating my opinion. You choose to call my opinion rubbish. You do not appear to have experience of front line active duties and clearly have not taken those risks so I could equally suggest that shuffling papers for H.M. Revenue and Taxes,Custom House to chase tax defaulters is not a comparison of law enforcement as you put it.
Naomi you going to start now then? Bring it on!
Yes I have been a tax investigator Retro but I have also worked for other areas of HMRC

It can be seriously scary being a Chef!
Oh Baldric is that all you got? Don’t you have a fictional mistress to see to?
Rockrose, you're the one who constantly mentions the vast array of jobs you've done. I'm simply saying I'm impressed.
Bull Naomi
That's one word for it.
Ok seems as I’m now being called a liar! I worked and trained as a chef up to the age of 23 since then I have worked for HMRC in a variety of roles all but 1 as an investigator.
You want to have your facts right before calling someone a liar Naomi
We are about to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the introduction of females to the police service. The Police Federation and Male officers fought vigourously to stop WPC's serving on the front line with male counterparts and keep them doing Alien enquiries,Children and Young Person matters etc
Women Officers won their cause to join officers on the front line
This Woman Police Officer and the likes of Rock rose do these female officers a great disservice to imperil the hard fought battle these early officers had to fight to wear trousers and join their male counterparts. Male officers do not suffer menopausal symptoms, times of the month or pregnancy.
It is MOD policy to take female soldiers away from the front line and I see no difference for the Police Sevice to do likewise.

What’s your point baldric, I studied as a chef and had a career as one?
Is that the best you have? Toddle off old man
DANNY, I have no knowledge of what was considered as part of the risk-assessment.

If you know what all was taken into account, it would be helpful to us all if you could enlighten us.

In view of the Tribunals decision, the employer had failed to show on the balance of probabilities that its actions were justified.
