Net migration to the UK from countries outside the European Union has hit its highest level for 15 years, the Office for National Statistics says.

Looks like net migration has still fallen from it's height 2014 to 2016. Trend's heading in the right direction, but a long way to go before it's negative and we get relief for the nation.

Slightly wrong.The D/H of a P.M. was Labour and he was a snake oil salesman,lying ,war monger and criminal called Anthony Bliar.
He and his cohorts trawled immigrants into this country by the thousands with no consideration to the so called benefits and skills they would bring except a cross on the Labour box.

True that immigration grew sharply under Blair, which is why the Conservatives promised to cut it to the “tens of thousands”.
But the last 5 years have seen an even greater rise than under Labour. The net immigration rate is now far greater than under Blair with the latest figure of 336,000 equaling the all time worse figure (which was set by the Conservatives).

Would just like to know why some people think that European immigrants are better than non European immigrants. I would agree with Margarettom.
I voted for Brexit mainly because of what the EU has become. Immigration is a problem because of our lack of control. I have no problem with controlled immigration. Hopefully we will leave the EU and immigration will go down.
