Tommy Robinson has had his facebook and instagram account terminated. Facebook says he has continually violated its community standards with hate speech against Muslims.

Is you use social media in ways that violate their policies around organised hate then surely you're a bad person?

I'm afraid I have to concur with you youngmafbog - they wouldn't dare remove these "muslims" that promote hate.
I'm afraid, & I speak as I find, I have no qualms regarding Mr Robinson.
His youtube videos are pure fact not fiction! Take a look.

// OK he didn't join a terrorist organisation but he did start a far right group that caused multiple accounts of violence //

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Robinson_(activist)#Leaving_the_EDL

On 8 October 2013, Quilliam held a press conference with Robinson and the EDL's deputy leader Kevin Carroll to announce that Robinson and Carroll had left the EDL. Robinson said that he had been considering leaving for a long time because of concerns over the "dangers of far-right extremism". Robinson said that it was still his aim to "counter Islamist ideology [...] not with violence but with democratic ideas"

It's just odd that contradicts his violent actions with football and assault of a cop.. in my opinion he left the EDL for his political image
//in my opinion he left the EDL for his political image //

Well, that's that. Now we know.
retrocop - // Why should the UK pay for an expensive trial, lining some briefs coffers with oodles of legal aid money? //

Because we have laws, and laws are what make us civilised. We have a proper judicial system with due process, and access to a defence.

That makes us a better nation than almost all the Islam states, and we should appreciate that, and not begrudge paying for it.

'Tommy Robinson' has need to be grateful to our legal system - that's why he's free to cock up his media platforms!
Of course, the Home Secretary's recent decision could be reversed in the courts and that would pave the way for a potential charge(s).

In which case Shamima would be tried in the UK.

One of our 'Gutless Lefties' speaks out yet again,
and that is what is wrong with the UK.
Courage of their convictions, forget it!
Baldric - // One of our 'Gutless Lefties' speaks out yet again, //

Given the current party in government's behaviour with regard to Brexit, you need to be careful about bandying the epithet 'gutless' around too freely!
//'Tommy Robinson' has need to be grateful to our legal system //

Our legal system and anyone who supports it needs to be grateful to him.
"No poor tommy and poor Begum we don't do torture in the UK"

Are you sure? This has turned into a cruel and unusual punishment.
"Given the current party in government's behaviour with regard to Brexit, you need to be careful about bandying the epithet 'gutless' around too freely!" Do you really think that Baldrik was thinking about Brexit when he made that post. Don't you have a mirror in that in that top floor of your ivory tower where you ensconce yourself upon that high-horse?

// Don't you have a mirror in that in that top floor of your ivory tower where you ensconce yourself upon that high-horse? //

Of course he has a mirror, but sadly due to the fact he lives off the opinions of others and nothing original his reflection is invisible to all.
Sad but true.

Thats only the case for vampires
An astute analogy. Vampires live off other people too.
What causes me mirth about this marathon thread, and no disrespect to Naomi here,is the award of BA! ;-)
Haha! Best ever!
To think of all those unrewarded insightful and profound posts you've done Naomi! ;-)
Perhaps I tried too hard. ;o)
