1An intentionally false statement.

From OED
Question Author
he was told a lie, so if he passes that on, he is spreading lies, AKA, lying... what ever though lol obviously that makes this entire discussion pointless because people would rather focus on that.
Question Author
"From OED"

Got a link?
Cannot be bothered. Your hatred of tommy renders any debate meaningless.
Question Author
Well you did actually provide a link just now and is didn't mention anything to do with their knowledge of the lie.

At least regarding this story the eye of the law can see reason.

https://news.sky.com/story/teenager-to-be-charged-over-attack-on-15-year-old-syrian-refugee-at-huddersfield-school-11565883?fbclid=IwAR1Jg-Re_89l8EhQaWwLG9936B24RtrhQmp9e1vBjdVWrE3hZVYG-k_0umE
refugee was bullied and had water thrown in his face, i abhor bullies
and they all should be castigated where ever it happens, but headline
said waterboarded, not the same thing by a long shot, now refugee gets £135k and what of 14yr viktorija sokolova's family.
Question Author
"Your hatred of tommy renders any debate meaningless."

Only if my hatred starts me to spout personal opinions about personal matters, when i'm keeping it factual to certain topics at hand, like spreading lies about Muslims which can harm children (yes, child saftey is compromised here due to tommy) then i think my hatred is moot to the debate at hand.
Best stick to gardening, Spath. Intellectual rigour is not your forte.
Question Author
Fender i think forcing water down someones face so they breathe in water is waterboarding. Maybe check the video then imagine that's your son / daughter. and maybe imagine it was done for physical reasons rather than religious reasons. Horrific no?

Question Author
Jackdaw, evidently neither is it yours, as you can't bring anything to the topic (thread) at hand rather than personal slander trying to silence someone on their own post.

Pathetic if you ask me.
Question Author
Jackdaw said to me... "I suggest you look up the definition of 'lie'."

I did.. he then said

"Pathetic. Look up the definition of 'lie' rather than 'liar'. One thing is for sure, you would never become a lawyer as you are unable to interpret the meaning of words."

So i mean.. you're a bit sinister aint you.
children (yes, child saftey is compromised here due to tommy)

Spath, anything to back that statement up ?
Question Author
He's spreading "fake news" about school gangs. He is specifically talkign about a 15 year old boy called Jamal. This Jamal folk is now being scrutinised by people who believe every word TR spouts.

"Jamal, 15, was greeted by supporters outside his school"

Because he needed it, because the world was attacking him

Robinson then..

"He also hit out at what he called ‘bearded Muslim men’ outside the school holding a demonstration in solidarity with Jamal and his family."

He just needs to leave it. He is dealing with lies and in a mahoosive web of complications. It is not his place.
I never quite understand why some ABers are so wrapped up in their hatred for Tommy Robinson and are very happy to 'put pen to paper' about it. Yet those he's "thuggish" about get admonished in such gentle guarded terms. Just an observation.
He also wears his past (thug, EDL, hooligan) for ever it seems unlike many of us on AB. People do grow up you know.
Question Author
But it seems they still spread lies.
Err has he not admitted that he was told lies and acted on them believing them to be true? No point in arguing with you spath - others have done so way better than me and you remain stubbornly unmoved.
One doesn't have to be a fan of TR to recognise the difference between lying and naivete. He should not have spread this story -- and quite a few others -- without checking it properly, but lying is about intent and knowledge of the deception.

Question Author
Spreading lies, and lying, in my books, is one and the same. Even still, that whole aspect, is moot to the actual issue / subject at hand. People have decided to jump on my personal opinions rather than the story provided.
Question Author
the amount people have tried to silence me is ludicrous, it's stupid i have to even mention it, and before anyone says anything, no i'm not playing a victim, in reality i do not care it would just be nice to have a debate without people attacking me and my opinions or tellign me to get back to work / have a lay down rather than debating and providing points, facts and relevance to the actual topic at hand, rather than warp the topic to be able to attack me personally lol. It is like a school playground sometimes. The malice and spite is ridiculous at times.
So now, he's a proven liar.

Spath, you stated that as being factual, are you now saying it is just your opinion.

What jim posted sums it up nicely
