"Brexit must be stopped", apparently - it seems our Liberal Non-democrat friends have scant regard for the will of the people. Is this the same crowd that yearn for PR? Well it was a pure binary choice, satisfying even the Limp dum rules so why do they think they can ignore the democratic will of the majority?

"Brexit must be stopped" Good man.
You've really got to stop pretending that the votes of 37.36% of the electorate is equivalent to "the will of the people".
TheChair, Leave won.

TTT, I've listened to a couple of them prattling away over the past couple of days. They're on a different planet. Not a hope in hell.
Question Author
oh dear the chair is still banging on about turnout. If they didn't care enough to vote then they are irrelevant and are thus statistically divided among the choices. NEXT!
Turnout is irrelevant. Governments elected on a low turnout are still elected.
I really will be glad when this is all over.
Rather than go round the houses for the zillionth time on what democracy means, why don’t you suggest your own name
It was actually quite a high turnout at 72.2%
Question Author
ich, I suggested the Lib Non Dems or possibly the Lib Anti Dems.

ah, the three fifths of five eighths of f-all argument again.....
I was thinking of ‘Limp Dums’ or whatever it was :-)
"why do they think they can ignore the democratic will of the majority?"
Because they don't care as long as they can get their own way. Any excuse, any tactic.
They are no longer worthy of serious consideration, and their leader has proven himself incapable of representing anyone in politics due to his campaign against the citizen's collective viewpoint.
Apart from a brief period, 2010 - 2015, the Liberals have been an irrelevance in British politics since 1922 and are likely to remain so.
"Brexit must be stopped" Good man. "

but it wont...you have shown yet again for the umpteenth time that you obviously have no idea or clue what a legal democratic vote (or anything else for that matter) is or means...im starting to think you are some sill little immature Fortnite playing teenager
Not that old or that bright TRG...

I don’t think I’ve read anything Gulliver ever wrote that even vaguely could be construed as an intelligent thought.

Question Author
TRG, we try to ignore TVI, no vaguely coherent communication is possible.
Thanks for clearing that one up Tora.

Jesus!
I think Mr Cable is doing the same as Jeremy Corbin - enjoying the giddy freedom afforded to a party leader whose party has about as much chance of winning an election as I have of a date with Alison King - ludicrously slim, so no breath-holding going on.

That freedom means you can spout as much garbage as you like because a) you'll never ever be called on to back it up, and b) no-one is listening anymore.
