//will Khan be able to bring Pakistan into the 21st Century? //

I doubt it.
Unlikely.
He'll just be a puppet of the military.
Is he in the 21st Century? Are we talking the 21st Century as decided by the UK or Pakistans 21st Century? Is there a difference?
21st century? lets not run before we can walk. I'd settle for the 17th century.
"Is he in the 21st Century? Are we talking the 21st Century as decided by the UK or Pakistans 21st Century? Is there a difference? " - ah mally the hijri Calendar is 653 years adrift and the year is 11 days short! anyway we are in 1439!

Tora.....I have read that he is on his third young wife and he likes this one particularly as she likes staying indoors..... I think that he has not quite got any understanding of 21st Century women!!!!

He can hit a leather ball with a piece of wood.

Unfortunately Hopkirk I think you are probably right as the Military seem to be behind him.

Firstly clearly 'Western' 21st century and secondly if you have to ask if there is difference then you can't know much about Pakistan and it's problems.
I hope he doesn’t fall victim to assassination.
