Everything in the program was true. Trump was given the chance to defend himself but he just said ''It's all fake,I was never there, I never met the women, they are all lying '' . But then Trump was shown in photographs with his arms around women who he said he had never met.
I think the BBC were exercising their rights in the way you seem to wholeheartedly support on your other thread. What was it you said....oh, yes:

'........having the freedom to criticise all no matter their status.'
Snap, JTH.
Eddie, maybe they'd met him and taken a photo opportunity. People do that all the time with the famous and influential. He wouldn't remember all the people who have ever done that... but some of them will make damn sure they dine out on it ever after. Still, don't let that stop your imagination running amok - or you jumping on the bandwagon with your pitchfork.

Since the President is due to arrive here this weekend, fortuitous timing, this programme - and all for the purpose of reminding us of what we already know - that like millions of men he likes women and he's a bit of a letch. So what?!! If Panorama looked really hard I'm sure they could find something much closer to home that really needs investigating and exposing.

spath, if he was so bad why have none of them sued? There is an on-going hate-fest happening here - and Panorama have, to what ought to be their shame, deliberately fuelled it.

Be nice to see a repeat of the Panorama program on the Clinton rape allegations. They did do one, didn't they?
Why have none of them sued? If you had actually seen the program you would have seen the interviews with women who tried to sue him. They were all immediately threatened with legal action and scared off by Trump's legal team. ( The same team who conspire to hold off legal action by the thousands of people and companies he has swindled out of money and has refused to pay for work done for him. We are talking about a man who even managed to go bankrupt running a casino!)
spath, he wasn't president when these misdemeanours were alleged to have occurred - but how people came crawling out of the woodwork once he was. Not intimidated and threatened enough to stop them talking to the press or having their fifteen minutes of fame on worldwide television - but still none of them sued.
Eddie, //They were all immediately threatened with legal action and scared off by Trump's legal team. //

Do you really expect people who threaten to sue to do so without meeting opposition? Really? Wicked old Mr Trump. How dare he defend himself?!

Actually Eddie, I think four, or it might be six, of his businesses went into administration – I can’t remember - but that’s often an expedient measure. What’s that got to do with this anyway?
More muck raking ! Makes some of us ashamed to be British. Deliberate attempt to discredit someone for what happened donkeys years ago.
Spath----don't make me laugh! Women he's molested and mentally harassed? What woman would go to a party with four girls and god knows how many men? None unless they were very naïve or after 'what they could get'.
"Was the BBC correct..." - yes.

Naomi - "...but still none of them sued."

As mentioned in the programme, a couple have.

There may be more up-to-date reports.
Eddie I don't think his casino went bankrupt as he is not allowed a gambling licence in Nevada.
Lie-in-king, if they have a case, then sue away – good.

Rockrose, his casino was in Atlantic City – and, surprise, surprise, the Nevada claim is false.

Really? OK well I apologise but His hotel in Vegas is one of very few to not have a casino and I was told by a member of staff there that it was because of being denied a licence and that was just last year.

// as far as I'm aware he's broken no laws //
erm that is related to the opinion he holds that a president is immune from suit.

have I just read:
"and NONE of them have sued!" ( so it must be untrue)
"yes they have !"
"o yippee for them ! foo!"

normal steaming evening on AB then

as for showing or publicising dirt on the premier
Dorothy Macmillan referred to herself as "a one woman man" - but the man was well known to be Lord Boothby who er like men rather than women.
Mac as a cuckold was suppressed by agreement of the press and he was portrayed as Super-Mac
