If he comes? .I'm not sure trump will visit if he suspects any hostility towards him .
I'm torn between not wanting him to come, and wanting to see hundreds of bottoms being bared towards him as his car drives by the crowds.

Have to agree with anneasquith, would not surprise me if he cancelled.
Anne, he should be used to it, he gets plenty in the US.
I think I the ‘hostility’ thing is a red herring. Most people in America detest Trump but it doesn’t stop him living there. The guy plainly is an aberration but we have to live with it.

I sincerely hope that doesn't happen. That would shame this country far more than it would shame him. It's not clever.
The bottom baring thing is a delightful prospect. No violence, just contempt, which lets face it he has ’barely’ ever refrained from meting our to his own objects of dislike.
He’d actually BE
President ‘Moon’ without even having to go to Korea :-)

Bet Farage ,and Boris are looking forward?.
Yes. Good official relations benefits all.

Yes ... for our country, our government, and our Queen. Shameful.

Oh! dear.

I favour silence.

Absolute silence.

Nothing whatsoever.
The fact is Trump is a figure of fun at least just about anywhere you go. Even the ITV commentator for Iran v Spain got in on the act last night :-)
A much better protest, if people must, is to be totally silent and still. It can be quite unnerving.
I can’t see how it would work anyway as there’ll be no ‘procession’ or any sort of occasion presumably where he’ll be particularly visible to the general public.

Actually, my idea is for no-one to turn up.

For protesters to ignore the fact that he’s in the UK, so that the only people outside Balmoral are TV crews and his supporters.
He’ll come in have his meetings and be gone
People on protests can’t be quiet and still. It is not in the nature of protesters to do so.

One would shout a remark then the rest of the sheep would follow.

That doesn't mean that idiots possessed of nothing but puerile, lavatory, humour have to disgrace themselves and their country. Like him or not, we, at the very least, should have some respect for his office - and for ourselves.
Why would Sir Nigel be looking forward, he sees him anyway?
