it also seems to be gnome day on the Google home page; no relation, I'm sure.
I think he's great :-). A proper character. I'll have a look for that book too.
Ordered it on kindle, might be a laugh while Dave sleeps
I'll tell you what's amazing, the autonomic nervous system and how it can be cajoled along by endless attention married with the ultimate sense of entitlement.

^^ sounds like most men ;-)
People make snide remarks about the Royal Family. I have said before I wouldn't do their job if I was paid a million pounds a day. Privileged yes, but no privacy. Having to be accompanied all the time by security people in case someone takes a pot shot at them. Everything they wear, say or do analysed and criticised.
What is the alternative, a president like Mr T, or worse Mr Corbyn? Be careful what you wish for.
Helly, I think the royal have doors in their houses which they can close, they don't work 24/7 .
the royal family is ALWAYS on show , save the few hours in kip ! and they ALWAYS have to be groomed and dressed accordingly..never seen HM in comfy trews and trainers relaxing with a COSTA ! even when not on show HM has several red boxes to go through for signing and scrutiny... and daily private audiences to attend.. it's not like you see it all on the telly or in the papers... I often felt like slipping in a wee note to her in the red box !
Ask the Royal Family if they would give up their wealth and privilege and swap with Joe Bloggs
Wealth and privilege is usually what offends the anti-royalists the most.
The red box you talk about mm, is just for reading she has ,No say in the running of the government .
Anne you are quite wrong..she had red boxes for documents that required her signature.. I should know..they were from me ..some of them !
God, ,Mm worked for the queen, !!!!!!!
I was the Royal scribe in Scotland and I also dealt with all estates that fell to the crown... so yes I DID !
What an honour .
there lies an example of engaging mouth before the brain and leaping to unfounded and inaccurate flippancy !
Or , ( couldn't care less)) lol .
or.... well I will not say..most will form their own opinions...
MM....Asquith is having a bad day today, she has had a "nibble" at me, with no positive result........LOL
