Wednesday. It rained for most of yesterday, not looking too good for today either! I don't think there is anything on the oracle for today, I'll check nest time I go to the kitchen. I'll go and see my ex-RAF mate if there's nothing on. Always good fun.

No, I was in the Royal Artillery, but I'm a member of the RAF Association. Also the Royal Navy Association, The Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association.

not too bad, have planned to go out later if i can and do some retail therapy. that is if i can find things to fit me, which they often don't. Part of getting older is changing shape, not a happy sign.

can't get stuff online either as i can't abide the faffing about taking the stuff to the post office if they don't fit.
Marks and Spencer used to be a shoe in for things to fit now that has mostly gone by the by. Still it will be nice to get out for a little while. It's lovely at the moment but don;t expect it to stay that way.

I don't like buying things like clothes online. I did buy the GTech sweeper and the hand held multi, not on line but on the phone. They were delivered 15 hours later. If a decided I didn't want them all I had to do was phone them and they would have been collected the next day and my money refunded. Can't fault that for service.
