In that heat you're putting your body through such extremes. Not healthy in any way.

Things like running and racket sports wear your joints out too. Gentle exercise is far better.

ditto any kind of road racing or jogging..I used to run for a club and stopped as the doc said either that or 2 new knees before I was 25... stopped !

I don't remember seeing him on Masterchef but I didn't watch it with any conviction.

Yes, Bazile. I only caught fleeting glimpses of it. I generally prefer cooking programmes where I can recreate the dishes. Masterchef is a bit too haute cuisine.

Indeed, Pasta. A very promising man. Running in honour of his late father and now they're together. Very sad indeed for his family.
Have you seen how much his just giving page has raised, at midday it was sitting at 13k, it's now at 30k.
I thought the poor fellow had cooked himself ( no pun intended )

keen ahtletes can train themselves to ignore danger signs ( like you know feeling you gonna die etc )
PP, what was the cause of death? I assumed over heating?
unless you are about 9 stone soaking wet running is bad, very bad.
