I don’t know why you’re telling me this.

I didn’t say he wasn’t a prince.

My understanding is that he was known as Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark. However when he married Elizabeth, he renounced the title, and then four years later he got ‘upgraded’ to the title he has now: His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, by royal decree.

I do think Miss Markle will find it hard to accept the protocol of the Royals. Too stuffy for her.

Philz ( the Greek that is - hey his muvva was a one wasnt she?) - standards - Greece and Denmark were displayed outside the palace the night before. Then they took them down later after Phil had renounced the succession to either throne by oath

so .... WAS he a prince when he married ELizabeth ?

[Remember that when Edward VIII abdicated - did he go back to being a prince ? - the thing he was before, in which case Wallis had a right to be 'Her Royal Highness']

If Charlie is like his mother - he could live until 92 - so it will be a quare long bit of breath - another 22 years and his children will be in their 50s.

But who knows. I just don't think she is right for Harry - can't put my finger on it. Do think she is too old to start off in the Royal.

Spath, of course not. I admit to being amongst those who have doubts - although I really, really hope that all will be well for Harry's sake; he strikes me as a vulnerable soul who needs certainty in love. He is certainly in love with her........... It's just, I look at that engagement photo, she's curled around his knee. He is looking adoringly at her and all I see is her 'working' the camera. As I said, I hope I'm wrong and it's just the habit of a lifetime (being an actress) which could actually come in useful as a member of the Firm.
