It still hit me hard TTT.
Before Brexit my pension was getting me 53.5 Thai baht to the pound. With the increase today I would get 44.7
That is still a 20% reduction in my pension.... but small mercies when I was getting 42 baht per pound it was even worse.

there is always going to be currency differences that's why you should earn in the same currency you have to live on.

The pound is driven by many things, something Project Fear omitted to tell people.

It's good news at the moment but it would be best if it didnt go too high or it reflects badly on our exports.

...and if it goes too low, as many of the UK's imports are essential goods, these will become more expensive and this will drive inflation.

The pound is strong on the belief that a transitional deal being agreed with the EU is a good one for the economy. Funny how those praising the pound’s strength are the same ones who didn’t seem keen on the deal. PMSL!
