Different, but not a problem really is it?
It's just supposition at this point,I think
There is an explanation in your link - her brother is a loose cannon and not invited, her father is too shy and would not be able to deal with the attention.
Yawn. Note to self: make sure you are abroad that week.

really think her mum should be allowed if dad not willing
Is this an Australian link? I somehow don't think they would know before the UK but who cares - I think it would be nice for PW to do it he is so close to his brother, also perhaps the mother doesn't want to do it either.
not odd at all. Their wedding their choice, not our business
It should be HER choice.
Who cares apart from hopefully this is the beginning of the end for the king spongers.
"not our business" and "who cares" - just about sums it up!
Woofgang - absolutely right. When me and Mr BM get married we are not doing "tradition". There will be no speeches - other than the brides speech since she always has something to say. Brides father MAY give her away (but he's reluctant cos he gives her away and she comes back). Best man wont happen - more likely best woman (Mr BM's lovely daughter). Bridesmaids are more likely to be tiller girls......

It will be something else. And it will be ours. And so should HRH Prince Henry and Ms Markle choose the same. It's their day - no one elses.
Keep it in the family.....
BM: ASBO not walking you down then? Or more accurately, staying clamped to your shin - with that crazy cat look in his eyes - as you surreptitiously try to stem the river of blood...
Its not " their day" though BM, they have chosen to have the pomp and ceremony of a royal wedding .
A BB or ITV reality competition then to chose some unsuspecting person from Joe Public....begins with bungee jumping from the Windsor Tower, the rope 4 metres short of the length that it should be.
Ah, the rope. Now your talking.
It's a bit strange. I can understand that she hasn't got a suitable male relative, but surely someone other than William could have been found. I don't see why her mother couldn't do it.
If there is bungee jumping, a short rope is fine....its a rope that is too long that will get you into trouble.
anneasquith they haven't chosen to have "the pomp and ceremony of a royal wedding" Its not yet confirmed what will be televised and the service may not be. The congregation will be smaller and it will be at Windsor, not London.
ludwig its what they have chosen and decided....maybe her mother didn't want to do it....maybe Meghan didn't want her mother to do it.
Their Wedding, their choice. When Mr J2 and I married his eldest daughter was 'best man'. No problem, not my business.
