Mrs May had her hands on her lap for this interview, so couldn't have crossed her fingers every time she spoke.

But I wonder if a Number Ten aide was waiting back stage, with a large bucket for her to be sick in, as soon as the cameras stopped rolling ?

That's good news.
I wondered how long it would take for the VB to pick up on this. We are leaving the EUSSR it makes sense to get what deal we can out of elsewhere including the US of A. Not sure what capital you are trying to make out of this mikey.

Only a few months ago, May was castigating Trump for is tacit support for a British Far right group.

But now they are the best buddies, hence Mays need to put a brave face on things.
Where did Trump have his hands more to the point

Itchy....I was watching very carefully....lucky for Theresa, there was a huge bunch of flowers between them.
Mikey at 15:49, don't be ridiculous. Do you really want - or expect - her to behave like you?
Question Author
Naomi....I expect her not to be a hypocrite.
Mikey, what on earth are you talking about? She is our representative on the international stage and you expect her to behave with spite as you do? Again I say, don't be ridiculous. Thank God you're not a politician!

"We love your country"

Oh! don't it make one feel nice and warm inside?
Another example of Trump saying the first thing that comes into his head. I doubt he has ANY idea of any facts and figures behind his statement and even less about the mechanics of how this might come about.
mikey; "Only a few months ago, May was castigating Trump for is tacit support for a British Far right group.
But now they are the best buddies, hence Mays need to put a brave face on things. " - politics you have to tolerate differences and embrace common ground.

Watch this space .
He will be quizzed and interrogated about the mechanics of such issues, by Piers Morgan in the near future
Jesus, I can't wait.
Good news. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks of him personally, he is the current POTUS.
let us hope they are right.. We need to trade well outside of the EU, so USA want to business, that's got to be good news.
So this thread is about a hypothetical bucket of sick ... superb !! !!!!!
Slight diversion , I don't think I have ever seen Mrs. May look so unwell.
In the circumstances, bending the knee to Trump is the right thing to do. If a hard Brexit goes ahead it's reasonable to expect the UK to be rather isolated - it will need all the trade partners it can get.

Of course,in such a massively disproportionate power balance it is unlikely that we will get good terms (although the President seems very easer to manipulate and his children are woefully inexperienced - so there's that).

Bow and scrape as much as necessary, I say. That is what being an effective politician is.
El Presidente seems to have a very limited vocabulary as well as a passing acquaintance with reality.
Another load of 'anti tory' rubbish - we are the ones who will want the sick bucket.
