.. but some can't even see it now! Would you not agree that this man was a visionary?

I'm not bothered if it was written by Karl Marx, you can't argue with the truth.
I should think that most of the strangers that Enoch was referring to already were, and are possibly now deceased or at least displaced from their homes.
So you're now saying the strangers were white British Togo?
Getting back the original question call me difficult but I'm not prepared to sit through all 22+minutes of Powell's erudite but it has to be said also rather irritating tones.

Any chance of a resume?
We were conned into joining the EUSSR I guess is the general tenor, yes?
He was not a racist .He had no objection to immigrants coming here to train as nurses and doctors but thought that once trained they would be better going back to their own countries and helping their own people. Nothing wrong with that.
//He complained his constituents were becoming strangers in their own country,//

That is what your reporter says was spoken by Enoch. Now who do you thing Enoch may have been referring to when he said "becoming strangers in their own Country"? The newcomers who did become strangers in their own Country or the indigenous people of Wolverhampton who were, indeed, eventually become to be(and not just in Wolverhampton) made to feel like strangers in this one?
Just point out one 'prophecy' which has come to fruition?
//We were conned into joining the EUSSR I guess is the general tenor, yes?//

Being lied to and in danger of losing our right to self Government, and determination. He also warns that the EUSSR would not stop trying to enforce ever more regulation and control over us and that the Common Market was just the thin end of the wedge. Bang On.

A list of a few rivers European rivers which have, unfortunately received blood;
1, The Thames
2, The Seine,
3, The Spree, not to mention the Mediterranean Sea.
Erm, yes how silly of me.

What are the the predictions Old Mother Powell specifically makes at the link, which have come true?
Again, in the spirit of wishing to contribute but not wishing to have to listen to the entire blimmin' audio
Khandro. having witnessed some of your deliberations with regard to the beliefs of many of the newcomers to Europe, I can do no more than take your occasional protestations with a large pinch of salt. You need to make up your mind. You can’t have it both ways.

ichi; If you attended a university (?) and if a tutor asked you to read a book and write an appraisal of it, and you said, " I can't be bothered, but give me a few quotes and I'll tell you what I think"
s/he would give you the mark you would deserve; nulla!
naomi; what on earth are you taking about?
Zacs: It is astonishing that people actually get paid to write such drivel.
Khandro, you defend the beliefs (and you can interpret beliefs as ‘way of life’ because that is what those beliefs amount to) of the very people you are objecting to – and whilst you’re doing that I can’t take your objections seriously.
Its my recollection that the Tory Party itself that got rid of Powell, not "luvvies" ( whatever they are ! )

He then had no choice but to become a politician in Northern Ireland.
Powell was sacked from the shadow cabinet in 1968. It was his own decision not to stand in the February 1974 election as he considered it to be a charade and a fraud by Heath. He voted Labour at the time and had sufficient support to lose Heath the election. If for nothing else he should be remembered for this great service he rendered this country.
Its easy to see how the Tory Party viewed Powell as a traitor.
The traitors at the time were the Tory Party, not Powell.
jack....in your opinion maybe, but Powell was a Member of the Tory Party, not the Jack Party !

Lets not forget who led us into the Common Market.
In that infamous speech Powell predicted an apocalyptic vision of a Britain riven by racial discord as a result of Commonwealth immigration. Manifestly that prediction has failed to come true despite the best attempts by many to use it to stir up racial tensions.
Craftily tho I don’t think he put a timescale on it, so in theory it’s an open ended prediction.

I’m betting there are opinions in that audio link - which one agree with or disagree with - but no actual predictions. If I were to discover that the hard and long way I’d be seriously unhappy.
i would like to listen to this when i have a bit more time, but it sounds as though he is speaking for now,
