Sad but not surprising, given his past.
sixty seven not old but not young and he was a bit of a hell-raiser. How Mick Jagger keeps going, heaven knows!
A sad loss, my heart goes out to his family and friends. Especially Katie who in her own right is an accomplished actress.
Earlier this week, the ACDC band member, Malcolm Young died from dementia, at the age of only 64. Now Cassidy has dementia as well, and he is only 67.
I don't think most of David Cassidy's problems are dementia related
Neither do I, 237SJ.
Sadly he seems to be about to answer his own question: Could It Be Forever?
I agree but I am pointing that these two relatively young chaps have dementia.
You only have to search his name on Youtube to see the state he has been in over the last few years. It's very sad - I was a great fan in the early 70s
Let's take a step back...he's had a great life. He's been a teen idol, a successful actor and made millions of people happy. He will be remembered for a long time by many fans all over the world. All in all, not a bad life.

I think at times like this, we shouldn't feel sad for the life that he won't continue to lead, but happiness in the life that he has had.
On the first thread, I commented...

I can only wish him a speedy release from pain.x

That is how I feel.
So do I, Mamya.
Safe travel David.
Indeed, Mamya.
