Seems the EU have been pushed off the fence and come down firmly on the side of Madrid.
My nephew married a woman from Barcelona and they are off there next week for a break.

Don't know what her thoughts on this though. I get the impression she isn't very political.
We were there last week for the Iron Man and it was warming up!
The EU can do nothing but side with Madrid. It would be like Cornwall demanding independence.

YMB....thanks....I thought what I had said was obvious.

Considering the high levels of violence from the Authorities that we saw a few days ago, IMHO it would be folly to go on holiday to a place where they may be civil war brewing.
no tanks in the streets, I think visitors will be fine.
