That may well be, but it now seems that France has a very high proportion of terrorist attacks that any other country.
possibly something to do with their history?

What I mean is, their Algiers occupation and Fort Boyard and French Foreign Legion?
(gawd,, am not putting this well at all)

Maybe resentment has flowed down through the generations and these attackers feel the need to 'honour' their fore-fathers?
Maybe the terrorists can get close to the Channel but find crossing it more difficult. So they target Paris.
probably why they are going to Bilbao now OG ?

scary world, but it was always thus
//Why is France more prone to terrorist attacks?//

Because they have 8 million Muslims (11% of the population) living there. The higher the number, the more radicals will be among them, - simple maths.
as some have explained a large part of the population is Muslim, so perhaps it stands to reason that they are getting their fair share of terror incidents.
not to mention the burkha ban, which i can't see working
unless they have a massive police force willing to enforce it.
I wouldn't exactly call it a 'fair share'
we have plenty of terror incidents especially in the last twelve months, we are getting our fair share too.
The burka ban I suspect has nothing to do with it,.
Very few people in France wore a burka before the ban.
Scooping answered more or less correctly first time out. This is not helped by marginalisation of North Africans in French society: it's the other side of the coin of "multi-culturalism". Telling people to "take our culture or leave it" is not necessarily conducive to social harmony.

So your answer is that the indiginoud population should bend over ackwards for other cultures?
No. And that kind of zero sum counter-argument is not particularly helpful
The knifeman broke through a cordon of people who were lighting candles and laying flowers at a spot where a previous terrorist incident took place. How ironic is that?
ichi; //Telling people to "take our culture or leave it" is not necessarily conducive to social harmony.//

I think you've got the cart before the horse here, isn't it a case of a non-European immigrant culture demanding that the host country alters its own culture to accommodate their entirely foreign ways?
if Allah and Islam are so good, why not go and live in a Muslim country, of which there are multiple choices.
