It is a bit embarrassing to see people accuse Corbyn of losing the plot, when it is quite evident that they themselves are clueless about what is occurring.
Corbyn knows that his alternate Queens Speech will not result in him taking power. What he is doing is opposing the Conservatives, which is his job as leader of the opposition. He is trying to make things as difficult as possible for May, and test the commitment of the DUP to save May. Once the Conservatives are bethrothed to the DUP, the political ammunition he will be able to deploy will be immense.
The alternate Queens Speech is inviting the DUP to save May, and that association will be pousonous to the Tories, and a great advantage to Labour.

OK. For the purpose of intelligent discussion I am accepting that JC will go ahead with his stupid plan to vote down the Queens Speech. However , from where is he going to get sufficient votes. ? The Speaker of the House and his two Assistants do Not take part in the voting. Furthermore, the seven Sinn Fein members will Not be present in the Commons and I can't visualise the ten DUP parliamentarians giving support to JC.

Relieving the wealthy of a couple of hundred pounds in winter fuel payments doesn't make OAPs poorer, and the reformed plan for elderly care doesn't leave OAPs poorer either. If May were to go ahead and ditch the Triple Lock on Old Age Pensions ( which was her Parties idea in the first place ! ) then all OAPs will be worse off, give time. It was brought in to make sure that OAPs incomes don't fall behind again.
And May has yet to explain who will lose the WFP, and how. But its academic now, as the DUP won't let her do it
