Many below, including the left wing are advocating arresting suspects before they strike so is it time to utilise one of our many Islands and set up a camp starting with the 3000 that the security services have under surveillance?

ZacsMaster, //It would at least let the *** know their card is marked.//

Precisely. A very good reason to do it.
Maybe rural Herefordshire might be an alternative location for...Erm...training purposes?

Crikey ZM that's twice you've agreed in as many days, I'm feeling faint!
Smelling salts for Tora! Our politics are fairly similar, it's just how we choose to express our opinions and our view on potential solutions which differ (usually).

If, as is continually claimed, most of the Muslims are moderate they will back internement rather than resent it. We should start with the 3000 and follow it up with anymore that come to light and also the hate preachers that surface. There must be a nice Hebridean Island we could use.
had to google gitmo....in theory yes in practice..may cause more trouble and backlash..
I don't think it would. It would be a clear signal we mean business. Every time an atrocity occurs, it reveals a little more of their web.Even if it did antagonise them, forcing them into some irrational actions might expose a whole lot more.
Murraymints, //may cause more trouble and backlash.. //

Backlash from whom? The majority of Muslims we're told only want to live in peace?
there would have to be very clear criteria for such action... not like rounding up the italians in WW2 faith or nationality alone is not enough..who would draw those lines in the sand and how long would that take ?
from the non peaceable factions Naomi..
Murraymints, from what I hear on here, the only non-peaceable factions are extremists, and the majority here don't fall into that category - allegedly.
I'm not sure what residents of Hebridean islands might think of this as a plan.
You could always select one closer to the site of the problem, an English island that is, for ease of bringing detainees back for hearings or trials.
The Isle of Sheppey springs to mind along with the Isle of Wight.
I would dispute that...otherwise these atrocities would not be happening..no easy answer
^Precisely.
^But having said that, should we cower at it, or should we take the bull by the horns and come down hard on it?
// If, as is continually claimed, most of the Muslims are moderate they will back internment rather than resent it.//

complete non sequitur - from a Mensan as well....

for a start I am moderate and I would say most moderates do NOT support internment - even tho crazy out-to-lunch ABer may do so is irrelevant to the statement
Well everyone on here should know what I think on internment by now but here goes again.

One of the things we need to do is inter those on the list, thats around 20 thousand. As a priority the 3000 should be rounded up immediately. Whilst interned a better assessment should be made, those who are radicalized or do have links to terrorism should be shipped off and de-radicalized after which anyone not British, and I mean born and bred in the UK, should be deported immediately, no human rights, no right of appeal.

The internment camp should have no communications such as mobiles/internet etc but monitored landline telephone calls (to pre approved and vetted numbers) should be permitted as should written and vetted letters. The camp should be run by the Military.

That should do for a start. Once we start getting tough it may well deter others, any in the system would most likely be flushed out as they will start to panic if they cannot move around society with impunity.

To go with this only licenced Mosques should exists and only licenced/approved (by the State) imams allowed to preach. All Mosques need to submit to unannounced inspection.

Some of this may seem draconian but the 'community' have bought it on themselves. Hopefully those that deplore these atrocities will feel safer to come forward, if they dont and are found to know something - internment.

^^^ well stand for home secretary then
No thanks I dont fancy Corbyn like that.
The first place to start is sorting out the imams who are spreading division and some, downright hate. A very normal Muslim lady just on TV (Loose Women ITV1 12:30) called them unelected spreaders of a medieval outlook.
The government should decree all religious preaching (in all religions) must be done in English and recorded on CCTV and preachers must be licensed by the state
