Have The B B C Got A Paris Correspondent, Does Anyone Know?
The reason I ask is that immigrants have been wrecking the place for a fortnight, yet I haven't heard it mentioned on the Beeb.

Sorry, Talbot- if you meant some are immigrants and the rest are decendents of migrants then I think you are probably right. I agree they don't look like white Frenchmen with striped T shirts and berets and a string of onions round their necks. My guess is large numbers were born in France, but I accept they wouldn't have been there if no migrants had ever been allowed in or allowed to breed

You’d think that video of Police running away from rioters might qualify as ‘real’ news that the networks would want to cover.
They’re into day four of rioting over a police brutality issue. (Actually, it looks like any BLM riot, only it’s punctuated with shouts of ‘Allahu Akbar’.) The fact that the cop they are angry with is actually under investigation and could face criminal charges makes no difference. They are rioting. They are smashing and burning their way through neighbourhoods across Paris. If only these same people felt as strongly about groups of men raping women. In short, they’re turning France into a war zone. Weird… wasn’t that what they supposedly ran to Europe hoping to escape?

We stayed in the B&B hotel in St. Denis 7 years ago. There were no problems in the area and we walked out in the evening to a very good restaurant. There had obviously been a lot of money spent on improvements in the area (although some bits did still need updating) and we travelled happily on the Metro to and from there.
That all this effort seems to have been undone, is very sad. Something has changed dramatically in that 7 years. I can only assume that it is the population. :(

If you're black, why would you want to import people from a country/state with large sympathies for (say) the KKK or Nazism?
If you're a feminist, why would you want to import people from Somalia who believe in polygamy, FGM and the penal code of Sharia?
If you're gay, what advantage to you see by importing people who who consider your sexual preference not only as a sin(traditional Christian attitude, also criminal behaviour up till Wolfenden 1960), but punishable by death(check Iran and cranes).
