Yes and Yes.
Terrorist acts can happen most anywhere.
One needs good intelligence, and the intelligence to sort & act on it.
Yes and no.
Yes and too damn soft, in fact we help them by letting them into the country disguised as refugees - appeasement, the route to most wars
TWR....yes, of course it could happen here. It could happen anywhere, and we are not immune from terrorist attacks, as has been shown in the past.

Are we "too soft on Terrorists " ?....

In what way is anybody "soft on terrorists" ? Anybody can be a potential terrorist. They don't identify themselves like the cowboys did in the films of my youth, by wearing different colour hats.

Most terrorists seem to blow themselves up during their attacks.

Good intelligence is the only way to fight terrorism.

Ninefingers...if my memory serves me correctly, the terrorists responsible for the Tube bombing in Town a few years ago were born and brought up in his country.
Yes and bring back the death penalty for terrorism and acts of treason, though most have them go off on permanent vacation with their 72 virgins.

Apparently, our intelligence has taken out at least 12 acts of terrorism - and I bet that figure is the thin end of the wedge.
(since the London bombings)

What is the point you are making there, mikey?
Talbot....I was responding to Ninefingers post at 08:58, and making the point that the terrorists responsible for our last outrage were not refugees.

Keep up !
Saying the London bombers were not refugees is just a fact.

What is your point of saying it?
Mikey is in denial.

As usual.
you mean the complete and utter cack up of an investigation after a terrorist attack ?

yes could and has - think Brum 1976

The Berlin Polizei drag in a random swarthy man ( Nabil B in this case )
the first one they meet in fact. He is unarmed and goes quietly
he says - I aint done narfin ( in muh gooshi apparently)
they miss the first trick - no terrorist talks like that
instead the terroristen would say in bad German " I want to keel christian women and children and the more leedol children ( kinder) I keel the faster I go to heaven - bring on the virgins ! Bah ! Dess to America !"

He then co operates and this is interpreted as lying and obfuscation
Condign punishment is promised on him and his family - you know concerntration camps and the Germans know how to run one of those !

The Berlin polizei then break out the kaffe und cocken and say " Case solved! Merrige Kerstdag ! ". Scnapps all round

Ariel Wahlofski rings up ( for he is the Polish lorry owner ) and says I can vouch for the driver ( for it is his cousin and he is a blue eyed aryan sort of looks German).
And they shout down the line " undermensch!" - and Ariel says - "tell you what the dead body in the passenger seat DOES look like the driver and he is also my cousin. he not swarthy"

and the Berlin police say " Lying Polish bistard - why didnt we kill you all during the war when we had a chance ? that Problem solved. This problem solved too " In fact the Germans during the liberation of Poland 1940 only killed 250 of every thousand of the population ( yes a quarter )

they then do nothing until the Feds turn up and say
you have nothing on him
you have to let him go
he didnt do it .....

and the Police go .......

Unfolding in Berlin as we speak

yes it could happen here and did in Brum almost exactly fifty years ago
Everyone knows that migrants abandon their culture and philosophy the moment they hit European shores …. don’t they?
I'm sure and yes. I just read the link provided and this bit proves we are far too soft!

29 April 2013: Pavlo Lapshyn attacks. Lapshyn, a Ukrainian student and right-wing extremist, stabbed Mohammed Saleem, a Birmingham resident to death. He later admitted to police that he wished to start a "race war".[28] Lapshyn later detonated a home-made bomb outside a mosque in Walsall on 21 June. 150 homes were evacuated but no person was injured.[28] On 28 May Lapshyn detonated a second home-made bomb near a mosque in Wolverhampton, and attacked a mosque in Tipton with an improvised explosive device containing nails on 12 July. Friday prayers were delayed that day, and so his intended victims were still inside. Laphsyn was later sentenced to serve a minimum of 40 years.[29][30][31]

So he stabs someone to death in April, yet is still at large in May and June to commit more attacks. Surely after the first stabbing he should have been locked up.
PP, surely the civilised thing for them to do would be shoot the first Brazilian electrician they see?

This person was not arrested tho until July. That is the difficulty with crime fighting. You have to find out whodunit first.
Ichkeria, my mistake, sorry, I read it incorrectly.
