Strange, Trump got fewer votes than Hilary. So you don't care about Democracy!

"whinge-o-rama!
Who is Hilary?

America voted according to its accepted system, so no problem. Good for Boris in his bridge-building efforts. He and Trump will probably get on quite well. Yes, end all the whingeing re: Brexit and this result. Never known it go on so long, what is up with people? It's happened, get on with it. I've been upset at the result of elections before, as have millions of others.

Personally thinking of writing to Trump to say 'Ta' for enriching me (collected my winnings from the bookie's today :)).
well done Jourd
what odds did they give you ?
( no I didnt have the brains to bet on 'the outsider' )
When are they going to install a zip wire from trump tower to the Whitehouse, for Boris
Fairly soon, Bazile!

P.P. The bit I didn't want to know was how much I would have won if I had had a double on Brexit and Trump. It was an awful lot of loot, but like a nitwit I put on separate bets. Still nicely profitable, but nowhere near c£10K. If I drank beer, I'd cry into it!
It seems just a little hypocritical, though, to tell people to stop the whinging now. After all, wasn't whinging about the (previous) current state of politics basically what got us here in the first place?

Obviously we shouldn't whinge for too long. Instead, those who aren't happy at this result have to work out what to do to stop it from happening again (without, of course, destroying the very idea of democracy). Still, no-one should just lie down and accept this result quietly if they aren't happy about it.
Jim, //Still, no-one should just lie down and accept this result quietly if they aren't happy about it. //

What do you suggest they do? Rioting isn't going to change it. The only practical thing they can do is hope the next election goes the way they want it to.
I'd love to see an end to these whinging threads, yes.
Obviously rioting is wrong. But then, so is waiting for years and doing nothing in between.
Jim, I'll ask again. What do you suggest they do?
Jim, 360, Know what you mean Jim , just like Brexit.
Gulliver, in what way is it like Brexit?

Boris's opinions are as variable as a London bus.....if you don't like this one, there will be another one along in just a couple of minutes.
You have a lot in common then Mickey.
Yes divebuddy it is excellent news for us Brexiters, not so fo remoaners.
YMB....my views don't change, unlike a lot of Tory MPs.
