A total change from Dave and Gideon.

If she sees this through she, and all of us, should be a winner.

Good luck Theresa.

I think she will walk the walk. Strong lady! Good for her!

A Female PM, with a backbone, where have I seen that before?

The Left must be getting twitchy, if in fact they've even noticed.

Good Luck to her.
I think she's got a pair.

Wears some nice shoes too!
Honeymoon period.
No opposition.

She is attempting to unite the party in the middle ground. Previous Tory leaders have tried that and ended up satisfying no body. Let's see how this looks in a years time when we can judge her on what she has done rather than fanciful words.
Gromit, you're a regular ray of sunshine! ;o)
A politician offering jam tomorrow.

Nothing new to see here.

Walking is easy if you are not disabled, and talking is easier, but its what action that's taken, & when, is the most important!

"I will unite the party" is the mantra of every new leader regardless of party. The Conservatives have been deeply divided over Europe for 45 years. I cannot see May despite her many abilities, being able to square that circle anytime soon.

I always take the accusation of anti-British as a confirmation that the accuser has no coherent counter argument.

We are agreed on one thing. Cameron/Osborne are a very easy act to follow.
One way or another, Theresa May's premiership is going to be huge for Britain's future.
//The Conservatives have been deeply divided over Europe for 45 years. I cannot see May despite her many abilities, being able to square that circle anytime soon. //

The circle has no alternative but to be squared. Our current relationship with Europe is soon to be no more. The Conservatives know that and accept it. No division.
No division.
The funny thing is, you probably believe that nonsense.
Gromit, why is it nonsense? We are leaving the EU. How can division possibly continue?
That's the funniest thing I've read all day.
Jim, Funny? Why? Do you think there's any point in any Conservative - or anyone else - continuing to oppose Brexit?
Gromit; //Let's see how this looks in a years time when we can judge her on what she has done rather than fanciful words.//

Actually she's done quite a bit already, - she's been firm on Brexit, committed herself to invoking A50 by late March at the latest, seen off the wets who tried to force a 2nd referendum and then tried to put the acceptance of Brexit to a parliamentary vote, and she's extracting the UK from the jurisdiction EU court of human rights - not a bad start really!
That depends on what you mean by Brexit. I don't think there's any point in trying to overturn the decision made on June 23rd, but that's different from trying to shape it. The vision Theresa May has set out for Brexit is worrying, to say the least.

And anyway, that's very different from "no division". It's a given that even to Leave voters Brexit meant many different things, so the divisions there will still persist.
Jim, I’m not sure why you think the vision Theresa May has set out for Brexit is worrying, but you seem to be arguing with yourself. The division between the ‘Leave’ and ‘Remain’ camps, which is what we are talking about, no longer exists. It can't.
Problem is it does Naomi, it always will because people have lost sight of democracy, we vote, we elect, we act on the results.

The new mantra is we vote, we elect, we complain bitterly we didn't win and demand another vote. I get the impression its a new Lefty mantra, Sturgeon is writing the playbook, the countries lefties/remainers are following suit and dear old Jezza Corbyn is spinning it for all its worth.

The country voted it's time for action. pardon the phrase but I hope Mrs May has the cojones for the fight, it's either that or she's playing Harriet Jones in Dr Who, ushering in Britain's new golden age ;)

Keep this up Ms May and you'll have a new fan.
