Good Morning Early Birds!

Sunday. Just got power back after three hours. grrrrr

On the bright side I have snowflake a day early. :o} So we've been walkies and she now crashed out in her favourite position. Curled up between my knees on the recliner. With no street lights it would have been nice to see the sky, it's cloudy out, but not cold.

Tiggy has just gone to bed.

Morning All

Yesterday was a perfect late summer day....warm and sunny. I notice that there is just a glimpse of Autumn starting to appear in the trees.

Looks like its going to be nice today as well....lets hope so. I have day free but next week looks as if its going to be busy....roll on retirement !

A bit tired, WBM. Patchy sleep last night but 14 hours of continuous and uninterrupted sleep the night before.

OH is just brewing some fresh coffee :)

That's not so good NM. But the fresh coffee is! I wouldn't mind one myself, but I'll have to make it. It always tastes better when someone else makes it, doesn't it! :o}

14 hours of sleep. The last time I had anything like that was when we got back from Northern Ireland during the troubles. Whilst there is was rare to get more than two hours in one go.

The sun is just about to pop its head over the horizon. My bedroom/study faces directly east. I love this time of the morning....the street outside is deserted, I have a cup of Real Coffee and a handful of digestives, and all it right with the world ! Radio Three on quietly in the background ( playing the Morning Suite from Peer Gynt at the moment ! )

At about 08:10, Radio Three has the Birdsong bit, which I can thoroughly recommend !

mikey that sounds ideal. My lounge, where I am now, also faces East. I too love this time of day. Too cloudy to watch the sunrise this morning. Can't win 'em all!

That's very good NM. I'm OK thanks. Not got much energy, but that's fairly standard.
I've a yearning for a coffee now! I'll have to disturb snowflake and go and get the process under way.
