the one who handed himself in was identified as a suspect (black man with a gun) but has turned out to have nothing to do with it. Anyone's entitled to carry weapons openly in Texas, and that's all he was doing.

There's been nothing to say what ccolour the snipers are.

Of course it isn't.
It is not a coincidence that these shootings in Dallas have occurred in the same week as the two highly publicised killings. You cannot comment on the Dallas shootings without seeing it in context of how this has come about. The demonstration where the Dallas officers were murdered was a direct result of the previous killings. You cannot look at one side in isolation and explain it.
