So another over-paid and over-there (Barbados apparently ) falls on his sword.

This one was a former aid to Cameron. Good riddance as far as I am concerned.

Lyn...when you have as much money as these people do, its easy to get confused....barbados one, Jamaica the next, etc, etc.

I suppose one sun-kissed, palm-fringed paradise seems much of a muchness !
Wasn't his fault there were floods and he's entitled to a holiday like anybody. Don't think he had to resign.
I believe Lyn has nailed it.

He had to resign not because he didn't come back sharpish but because he lied about the circumstances.

He stated that he has a family home there as his wife is from the Caribbean.

That was being economical with the truth because his wife is from an entirely different island and this is a holiday home that they bought together.
I dont care where he was, I just want to see more useless Quango bosses fired.... and not replaced.

I though Spineless Cameron promised us this but I dont see any evidence of it happening.
Didn't know he lied about the holiday home, that WAS naughty !
