I hope they retain Mr Moribund - then they stand a snowballs chance in hell...
Snigger!
Anyone willing to stand up to the unions but that will never happen.
Chuka seems slicker and more urbane than Milliband and as another privileged son of a wealthy immigrant who has been in parliament long enough to find out where the nearest clubs are he should make an ideal candidate...as far as the tories are concerned.
Give them a chance to find somebody who can lie straight in bed, danny, before there's any 'standing-up' talk.
Well, I just hope it's someone who can spell.

jomifl.....you little tinker, you've found me out!
// I'm backing Chukka. //

You're only picking him because he is the most useless ;-)
How clever you wrote Noo instead of New-what a brain !
And can't even spell the man's name correctly.
Here you go TTT

We could still end up with Balls in No10 - just think of that !!

Labour doesn't even know who's going to be voting. How do you expect them to elect a half-sensible leader?

Someone who has previously worked in the real world ie not someone who gone from university straight into politics.
I'd go for Kinnock's son, he could carry on his father's good work...
They should have made Alan Johnson leader years ago. Hell, I might have voted for them.
So far there is nobody in the frame that I have any confidence in. Certainly not bland Chukka,
andy burnham i reckon - although i don't know if i could listen to a leader with a liverpool accent
Crafty's idea could be good, except that it would make our position in the EC a little difficult.

Negotiating with Denmark .......... in bed ;o)
I like Andy Burnham too, for me he seems to represent better traditional Labour values, his background and links with the Unions etc...

I reckon Chuka or Liz Kendall might clinch it though, probably Chuka out of the two, now Dan Jarvis has rules himself out.

Tristram Hunt, dare I say it, sounds a bit too Tory style background.

In need of a new New Labour which makes me thing they may go for a younger trailblazer rather than an old hat.
