They're plainly failing to capitalise on all their imported voters.
It is much better than UKIP so what is your point exactly?
I think AOG's point is that this is probably a surprise to most people?

And UKIP's is much better than the Green's so what is your point exactly?

Incidentally Labour is 2% behind the Tories, with UKIP only 3% behind Labour, which is not at all bad given that they are often referred to as a racist party.
An alternative reading of these figures is that the three main parties accurately represent the numbers of BME people in the UK, within a margin of error of about 2%, whereas UK has half the number, because many people from ethnic minorities have realised that UKIP, whilst not an openly racist party like the BNP, has members who are clearly sympathetic to right wing ideology and are former BNP voters.

I suspect that alone would make potential ethnic minority candidates shy away from UKIP.
"BME".

another trendy right-on TLA, is it?

What is your reasoning why the Green party is so far behind, could it be because they are against fly-tipping?

Does BNP stand for the Black Nationalist Party?
ANOTHEOLDGIT, since you have posed the original question, I am merely asking you to clarify the point you are making.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking this because you believe that people from ethnic minorities are flytippers?

If I've summarised correctly what is it that leads you to this conclusion?

I would have thought that was obvious, but let me try and make it a little clearer for you.

Labour who imported their valuable section of support from the ethnic minorities, come third, when they and their followers are always accusing other parties of being racist, one would think given their mind-set that the number of Labour BME candidates would soar above the rest.
Since UKIP is "colour blind," why is their percentage of BME candidates so low then?
Well UKIP has not put up an apartheid for membership. As mikey related he heard a UKIP member talking on his radio a few days ago.He was black. There are other ethnic members in UKIP I believe.

Not all ethnic minority people are fly-tippers of course, but just visit some ethnic minority areas, and you will see for yourself, also notice the mess on the pavements outside their shops.

Your link must have contained a very strong argument, because strangely enough the page has disappeared.
you've just shot yourself in the foot, retrocop -

clearly, the daily mail made that up.

I don't think we can accuse the impartial moderators of being complicit in that disappearance though. :-)
