Mr Tilly and I had a Wright's Meat and Potato pie for lunch. It was scrummy and just the sort of thing you need to sustain you through the trauma.

I didn't eat all the pastry though.

Have you had the pleasure of a Wright's pie?

No, I've not heard of them. We've been watching the rugby.
It's all Hollands and Haffners up here, Tilly. By the way, the game is at the Emirates so, technically, it's Arsenal v Spurs:-)
Are they southern? Then probably not. ;-)
Question Author
They are not southern, Zacs. They're made in Crewe.

In this house, ken, Spurs have to come first.
As long as Adebayor scores the first goal, I'll be happy
Question Author
have you had a bet, sibs?
Apparently he's 9/1 to score first Psybbo. Very good odds indeed!
Question Author
Never mind the bets. What about the pies?
Hmm, Chill I only got 8, yes Tilly
That's southern enough.
I've never seen them over here Tilly
Fingers crossed for you Psybbo! It'd certainly silence the boo-boys too!
Question Author
I thought they sold them at all the football grounds. Hence 'Who ate all the pies?'
Question Author
Good luck, sibs. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I am shortly, when the oven has done it's duty, having game pie with other stuff and gravy.
I always find cup games difficult to get an angle on so i've opted for both teams to score with an Arsenal win @ 3/1. And i'm having omelette for tea, no pies:-(
Question Author
Boxy, don't they eat prawn sandwiches at rugby grounds?
(Didn't see you there. It's the change of avatar, sorry)
One of my frenz when he looked after the dog
used to share his fray bentos pie

and also the bottle of orange juice ! [ yes it used to drink orange presse]

Question Author
Not Fray Bentos, they're foreign, aren't they. Good old Cheshire meat pies, I'm talking about.

I can't believe no one has had a Wright's pie. I bet Tony has. They must sell them at The Villa.
Never mind Psybbo.
