I'll be in France this year for Bastille Day and was wondering, anybody know if they treat it as we would when it falls on a weekend?
That is, as it falls on a Sunday this year will the French treat the Monday as a Bank Holiday?

No. The French have the curious practice of treating fixed date holidays as holidays though they fall on a Sunday.

Fred; why 'curious'? Anyway, a lot of french people now take their monthly leave between the 14th July and the 15th August (another bank holiday) and some companies are giving them this year (I say some) the 16th August to compensate for the 14th July.
