Yes. The SNCF don't strike in July, they're on holiday!!

thank you for that rather sarcastic response.
The Paris Metro,which has to be the most efficient(and heavily subsidised) Underground in the world,will be running on Bastille Day.
Unlike the London Underground,the Paris Metro tends to put on MORE trains on public holidays,and often runs them later than normal.
We have been (over the years) in Paris on several public holidays and have had no problems.

It wasn't meant to be sarcastic just what we in France notice. As Mr Veritas says, there'll be more metro trains especially in the morning to cover the thousands of people going to the Champs-Elys�es for the army 'd�fil�' which usually starts at 10am.
The metro runs every day of the year even on strike days with a minimum service.
