Dreadful that the girl has been murdered but I hate this sort of funeral.

to each his own, I suppose. If you don't complain about my funeral, I won't complain about yours.
we had a glass hearse for mum's funeral but a matching pair of black horses would have meant them travelling from the midlands and dad wouldn;t allow that, we had greys instead, hope those horses were local.
It's a sick world. end off.
you are all invited to my funeral.

DT can eulogise with an appropriate poem
mrs_overall can help with refreshments
sibton can say somethig in vulcan
Tonyav can help with transport
Kiki, QueenofMean and Tinkerbell can weep for me.
I'd offer to dance on your grace, excel, but I really have no sense of rhythm
...*grave*
I well remember funerals of notables, the odd criminal, and some with enough money for a good send off. The last one i saw was about 5 years ago, there were four beautiful black horses, pulling a stunning carriage.
I guess some people don't care what they spend, or what others think.
jno.
that is not very nice.
You'd better partner me then jno.................
suits me, who'll provide the handbag?
I never understand these kinds of public funerals personally, but each to their own I guess.

Of course it goes without saying that It's dreadful there's a need for any kind of funeral in this case.
Boo, exactly, poor wee thing.
That funeral must have cost £10,000s where did they get the money ?
A family of jobless drug users with criminal records by all accounts !
you *have* commented, and i tend to agree!

but funerals are very personal and i don't like any showy affairs, but would not wish that family's lot on anyone!
(wondering what i have done to offend jno and craft)
Would someone get MrsO down from the ceiling.
I totally missed this case from when her body was found on account of me being on a campsite, what's going on with the grandma? Did she or not? The news story here is a bit ambiguous.
Eddie, awful awful comment! My God, my toes are curling just reading it!
For me into a cardboard coffin and off to the big flame. Or maybe to the medical s Hoon for the students to practice on. The money must be spent on the send off for those who care to attend.
When Stuart Hazell was interviewed on TV before Tia was found he said " She was my little Angel" (note, past tense!) to have that in the hearse on top of the coffin was imo not well thought out.
