Yes, and my foxgloves and cornflowers are ruined.

And all the petals blew off my roses!
We have been very lucky, no wind, just a gentle breeze in Kendal. We forgot to put the bins out in time this morning, arrrgghh!

Kendal, Lake district? You are lucky. You never have to go away on holiday.
Certainly was yesterday but a lot more settled today ( West Midlands ).
We have bets when it's blowin' a hoolie on bin day to see which one makes it the furthest down the road.

It's been dry and blue sky this morning.
Not to bad today, about average for the Somerset coast I'd say. Time to go and see what's left of my garden I think!
Much calmer today here in Glos, thank God. Yesterday was crazy - driving home I was pursued down the hill by a rogue dustbin. I realised I couldn't out-run it (it's a very winding road), but fortunately it veered off down another lane.

Mr. cupid and I were laughing at all the wallies with their brollies blown inside
out!
South London seems to have escaped the gales. It's just really cold down here, and I'm seriously considering putting my heating on.
Had a couple of days of incredible winds down this way...but much calmer this morning.
It's lovely here so far today, York.
Traci, is the car sorted ?.
Hardly any wind in North Devon today, no damage as such just a lot of leaves blown all over the wild garden.
A song for it :-)

Still blowing a hoolie here in North Wales :(
I put the gas fire on yesterday it was so cold and blowing a gale and raining cats and dogs. This morning is much better with the sun shining, the rain gone away (with the cats and dogs) although it is still a bit windy.
Much quieter to-day in Exeter, yesterday stripped my clematis of its petals and dessimated my cornflowers and campanulas and peonies too. Will have to venture out there and try to support whats left! Mind you out on my mobility scooter was exciting... when the wind was behind me Lol.
What speed did you get up to julia, maybe you have broken a speed record. lol
Too busy holding my hat on and avoiding the police to look at my 'speedometer' Tony ...didn't want to get a 'ticket' Lol...
