Don't wear them!
Theres Chav, very chave and this
Ignoring the fact that I don't wear them and that I don't have children, no I wouldn't dream of doing it. It does seem to be more a female thing though, I've seen women in shops in jim jams, but never men.
Well, I don't have pyjamas and Mrs sqad only wears silk shorty nighties, show a change in dress would be necessary.

No I am not at all surprised that some mothers do dress in that appalling manner, but I must blame the husbands (if there happens to be one). The answer is quite simple....when the husband comes home at night and sees the state of his wife's demeanour, he should put her over his knees, pull down her pyjama bottoms, give her a good spanking and then say
"Lets discus your dress on the school run in an adult manner"
some of my contractors wanted to work on the building out of hours so the came to my house to collect the keys, they were very amused when i wondered out in my pajama bottoms, i wear them for lounging not sleeping tho...
As long as I didn't have to get out of the car then yes quite possibly.... However I don't have children and can't drive so it would seem unlikely.
Dave's right - I would bet my left nut that every single one of these people is a chav.
Yes there has been a general decline in dress sense over the years, it all started with 'Shell Suits'.

It all started when the Roman's left and the toga went out of fashion.
Encyclopedia Definition of pyjamas;

loose, lightweight trousers worn in the East, or a loose two-piece suit of silk, cotton, or synthetic material worn for sleeping or lounging.

Not sure taking your kids to school could be consider 'lounging'
Or perhaps the wearers might have originally come from the East?
I never did the school run in pyjamas - always fully dressed together with my lippy on - you never know who you might bump into. ):o)
I would if pressed but it's unlikely. I do put the dustbins out in my pyjamas.
What exactly is the difference between women's pyjamas, women's track suit bottoms, and women's cargo pants? Is it the number of pockets, or what?
I think this photo on the BBC site is actually an Asian lady i.e. this is her normal attire.
wOULD YOU PREFER TO WEAR A DRESS....
who's that directed at, rov?
boxy whereabouts in your pyjamas is your dustbin?

I've seen women in fluffly slippers and pj's toodling aroung the supermarket. (ugh)
